Morning friends!
First again at 8:25 am. I didn’t have any shopping to do per se’. Does it feel like Christmas? What is it really supposed to feel like? I did receive one of the vocal gifts I could have ever dreamed of. Although it wants me to go and kick that doctor in Brandon around who thought he was so smart and good, but yet does not know his right to the patient’s right. If he would have said Left I would known what he was seeing. I saw the pictures a week ago, but I had never seen the finished procedure from 2006 but facing someone your right is there LEFT not there right. He tood another 10 years from life expectency. Ok off my soap box now.
Happy Friday everyone. And happy belated birthday, Rambette! I hope your groom took you out last night and celebrated with you royally!
I don’t have the first place to go today, thank goodness. Have I told you lately that I hate playing with these old people all the time? Talk about sliding back into childhood. I’ve seen way too much of it.
He did and it was wonderful. I may never cook again!
-Rambette-
Thank you all for your birthday greetings!
-Rambette-
Hey folks.
Santa may have to reconsider his mode of transportation this year. All the reindeer are over here in these woods I believe. Nearly hit Prancer on the way in to work today.
Blues! Don’t hit Prancer. Santa neeeeeds him! LOL!
hey all!!
PM glad that PD is doing better
I need to ask for prayer for my baby boy—yes I know that he is 31 but he is my baby, he was burned last night starting a bona fire, we spend 3 hour in the ER at UMC he was burned on his face, hands and legs 1st degree burns with a few spots of 2nd degree burns on his face and hands, he is going to be okay with maybe a few scars–but that will not bother him–he is such a special person that I hate to see him hurting.
Thanks ahead of times for the prayers.
Crystal, if you are at home with him, tell his wife to get some eggs and separate them and plaster the egg whites on those burns. He may not have the first scar if she will begin that right NOW. I received an immediate third degree burn on my skin after touching a hot log in my fire place ten years ago. I kept the egg on it and you can’t tell which wrist was burned.
CL I will see if he will let me, and he is single he has never even dated anyone he is very shy.
It’s a wonder the ER didn’t send him home with a jar of Silvadene. That stuff is a miracle and keeps any scars from appearing.
they did
Morning and MERRY CHRISTMAS my dear friends! I can’t believe it is the day before Santa comes! My parents were married 54 years ago today. I am so fortuante to have both of them here in my life.
Perhaps the grandboys will behave themselves when they get out of jail next spring and not bring so much stress on daddy’s heart. He loves them dearly and it pains him to think about them behind bars at Christmas.
CLady so sorry for their misadventures. I know that has to be tough on all the family.
LegalE enjoy your stay home today. Crystal prayers for your son. I hope he heals well. I heard so many stories of burns while at Riveroaks in Brandon. As much burning as we have done up in Yazoo we were very lucky not to have been injured. Even using diesel could be dangerous.
Thank goodness Mississippi finally has another burn center. The one at River Oaks Crossgates is the only one in the state.
I made the mistake of thinking about a City Lights hamburger steak a while ago. BE is cooking spaghetti sauce, but I can’t get the hamburger steak image out of my head. I wish I knew how to cook a good hamburger steak. I cook they every now and then, but they don’t take like the professionals do it.
OB, thank you for the cheese wafer recipe. Y’all don’t forget to be posting your holiday recipes while you’re doing all that cooking. I know Marshall is going to share that homemade cookie recipe with us since Mrs. Boss just took fresh baked cookies out of the oven.
Soon to be going home. I hope PD does ok. They have my number if I am needed. I would prefer to stay, but he has begun to worry about getting better. So I hope with my not being here he will quit being negative.
Hey folks! I broke one of my own rules and went to Walmart with my bride! Total circus but I did find a pair of Liberty overalls for my Daddy. That’s all he wants to wear of late.
Then went to get my propane bottles filled. We’re doing a breakfast brunch for our family. I’ll cook all the bacon, sausage and ham on the grill. It keeps the smell outside and makes everyone hungry within a half mile.
CB prayers for your son, they are always our baby. Ours will be 40 soon. We keep Aloe vera (sp) plants around for burns. Just split them open and rub the juice on. Had a
friend flip a fish cooker of hot grease on him. We used aloe and he didn’t even blister!
PM I hope PD has a good night!
thanks AW!! I don’t see why he wouldn’t.
I have a fire going in the fireplace. The first one since October. It is rather lonely, but the heat feels good.
No sooner spoken, Nurse called he is screaming as loud as he can.
CB, prayers for your son. Prayers also for PD.
Mornin
Merry Christmas Eve!
Spent the day yesterday with family and never got to check in.
Crystal, I hope your son heals quickly and without too much pain.
PM, continued prayers for you and PD.
Just made a pot of coffee and about to go pour a cup.

I was unable to leave home until yesterday afternoon, but had everything ready to be picked up. I made a flying trip around the world, got home in time to spend a while with my BFF while she did pictures of Chicklette, then had to deliver Miss Thang to her Daddy’s for Christmas. Mr Fab pulled out all the Christmas decorations from the attic, but still going to be hard to put the tree up. I think he wants/needs it more than the kids. Having hot chocolate with a splash of butterscotch schnapps to knock off the chill.
Guess I better get started!
Merry Christmas Eve, y’all. LOVE YOU!
Special prayers for PM today. God bless you, hon.
Happy Christmas Eve! PQ is busy getting things ready for our Christmas Dinner. Just the two of us in the morning, then friends join us for dinner and the family gathers here for supper.
Got some last minute shopping to do. We plan to have lunch at Olive Garden. Headed to Church this evening at 5:30 and then home to watch the rest of the USM bowl game.
Here’s wishing all of you a merry and blessed Christmas. May the spirit of the Christ Child dwell within your hearts.
