New Year’s Day Free-For-All

I read Old Bopper’s comment saying that maturity is going to church on New Year’s Day early without a hangover.  I’m not so mature. I woke up at 11 a.m. without a hangover.  No early here!  Guess I was tired.

Let’s make this the best year ever.  I believe in you. Thank you for believing in me. Happy New Year!

(no hangovers here, either, but also slept late – much needed)

Happy New Year to you all! May 2012 be much better for us all than 2011 was!!

Off today and tomorrow. Been awake for hours but am just now up. Watching the Jets play. My Giants play tonight!! Yes, I like both New York teams, but hey, I’m the gal who loves both Auburn and Alabama!!

Hey Barb so glad you have some much needed days off. Hope you enjoy.

I too liked OB’s comment at the end of yesterday’s FFA. Maturity can be a plus.

Molly I hope your voice returns soon and you start and stay feeling better. I hope Coop does the same.

I had my black eyed peas, cabbage, Mac n cheese and cornbread at St. D’s cafeteria. Pretty good food.

    Happy New Year!

Molly, I used to get laringitis all the time until I ended up taking myself to the emergency room in 1963. The doctor there told me to gargle with Cepacol and I’ve never had Cepacol again.

  7. Legal Eagle says:

Well, duh, happy new year – never had laringitis again.

Afternoon! Watching the awesome Saints manhandle Carolina.

PM, the cafeteria at St. D’s is pretty good.

Molly, I’ve always found that tomato juice with a healthy infusion of lemon juice always helped me keep my voice going. Steam from a good hot shower helps too. It allows the tight vocal cords to get some elasticity. I’m not sure it will work for you though.

Where’s MrsH? Haven’t heard from her all year.

  9. parrotmom says:

Good evening everyone. I hope your first day of the new year has been wonderful. I think I saw that the Saints did well—congrats to them!

Happy New Year Everyone. Here’s wishing all a great year. PM, still praying for you and PD. Clucky, hope your pain is relieved soon. Molly and everyone else who is feeling less than stellar, this is no way to start the new year – get well soon.

  11. Airwolf says:

Evening folks! Went to church this morning! Over dosed on football at the farm this afternoon and a brief nap of course. Back home, we’ve had a good day.

I hope all our puny folks get better quickly!

  12. Barb says:

Evening, all! My Jets lost, but my Giants and Patriots won!!!
Hope all had a great day. I am putting this day to bed. Pleasant dreams to you all!!
