G’morning! A bright crisp day out there. I’m not crazy about having the January 1 TV schedule on January 2. Guess I’ll just have to record some of it.

Today is PQ’s birthday. I think we are planning to have lunch out. I think I sense the taste of lamb chops on my palate. We’ll see.

Hope all of you have a good day and an excellent start to the new week in the new year. Prayers continue for PD and Molly and others in need. Smiles and hugs to all.

Morning, cold, crisp and sunny on my hill!

  4. Molly says:

Mornin. Still can’t talk. Gonna see if the doc is in today and go for another visit. Seems like I should have gotten better since starting the antibiotics on Thursday, but got worse instead. Something ain’t right.

Morning! Back at the coal mine. See yall later when I get the black dust out of my feathers.

good mornish/afternoone. I hope you get to see the doctor Molly so you can get turned around. Not sure what and where PD is going to be tomorrow. Still on antibiotics no fever last night, woke up shivering this morning and also some other stuff going on. I think rehab may be delayed this week. We’ll know more later or tomorrow. I so wished I could take off some me time, but even though in a hospital he really has troubles when left alone too long. It is tough when you have no other family or friends that could help out. Neither one of has parents any longer and his brother is not a patient person that can hang around more than 15 to 30 minutes.

Back from the dr. Strep test was negative. Got a Rocefrin shot, changed antibiotic prescription and got a hydrocodone based cough syrup/antihistimine. My backside hurts. Ouch.
PM, so sorry you don’t have anyone to help you with PD. You have your hands full. Wish I could help.

Afternoon. Took PQ to Table 100 for her birthday luncheon. We both had the lamb medallions, wine and dessert. I am full to the gills.

If you are in Jackson and want a nice meal, I can recommend Table 100. Nice atmosphere, excellent service and outstanding food. You can check them out on the web. Thinking about going there for our anniversary this year.

Watching the Nebraska/South Carolina game. It’s confusing. Both teams use red as their dominent color and it’s hard to tell which fans are cheering in the crowd. Good game though.

    Hey folks.

Happy New Year to all. Back at work since sat. Just now had a chance to check in. I’m near Baton Rouge today. Should be here two weeks or so.

  10. OldBopper says:

Howdy do Blues! Glad to hear you are doing well.

  11. Barb says:

    Happy Birthday to PQ!!

  12. parrotmom says:

Happy Birthday PQ glad you had a delightful dinner.

Molly I hope the new meds work for you.

Hello Blues, hope your New Year is good and you get lots of work close to home :)

Kittie Girls are wanting in PD wants me there. I talked with him all day about how they need to be in tonight. Maybe once I get back up there I can leave and be back here before it’s too late. Yuck work tomorrow at 8:00 am. I really am not looking forward to it.

    Everyone have a nice evening.

  13. parrotmom says:

I hope Coop is ok? Has she checked in the last couple of days?

I’ve done a whole lotta sleeping while I have been off. Getting up early in the morning will be tough for sure.

Can any of you recommend anyone in the area that does antique appraisal? I have a need for $ rather urgently, and I have a lot of atuff I need to move. I don’t want to give it away out of ignorance, but ai need to know exactly what I have and what it’s worth. I think the rugs will actually have the most monetary value and I have no use for them. They need to be cleaned, but I have it on good authority they are from the 1800’s. They were in a plantation owner’s home, and I have 8 or 9 total, with half of one pattern and half of another. Obviously very well made, and most in immaculate condition but for the dust. Any advice would be appreciated. Email me at cluckyrn at gmail dot com.

I think I’ll call Coop. Her last post has had me worried. Love y’all. PM, I’ll be at St D Thursday for my pre-op stuff. Will try to stick around long enough to see you. I’m nervous about the surgery; I wish I had a clone of me to make sure everything is done right in the hospital. I know as long as they keep me pain-free, I won’t be paying attention to anything but the back of my eyelids.

Blues, being near Baton Rouge will be crazy with them playing in a week for the BCS championship! Enjoy the good food!

    Happy Birthday, PQ! (hugs)

  16. OldBopper says:

I read all the birthday greetings to PQ. She smiled and said, “Tell them I appreciate it.”

  17. Clucky says:

Talked to Coop-not able to get on here, but she’s still fighting the crud but getting better. Sends her love-~

  18. Clucky says:

OB, tell her I wish I had a few days to spend with her to pick her brain about sewing!
