AW, like you I slept in until 7:30. Too cold to do anything outside. Boule is getting lonely.

PQ is heading to the hair dressers to get ready for tonight’s engagement party. Oldest daughter and grand daughter are coming down from Southaven for the same event. Guess I’ll shine my shoes or something.

Hope this finds everybody doing as well as can be expected. Looks like a pretty day out there.

Morning. I’m getting ready for my trip. Cub gave me 5 days in Las Vegas for Christmas, leaving Wednesday. I think I’m most excited to see the Grand Canyon & Hoover Dam. Checking off my bucket list!

OB, just read your reply from yesterday. Thanks, I have missed my 3 days off. The 10 hour days…not so much!!

Good morning! I fell asleep for a few hours last night and so did BE. Then we woke up, had anniversary company and I sat up and read until 2:00 a.m. After all that, I bet I didn’t sleep 30 minutes all night long. I’m drinking coffee with creme brulee creamer, trying to wake up.

Happy noon time. Looks great outside, would feel nice of the wind wasn’t blowing.
Blues, good luck to hopefully some promising news.

OB you folks have fun this afternoon. Congrats to your daughter.

Hi. Woke up at 6ish in 4 kinds of pain. Got my meds, ice packs, Cepacol Lozenges and Prilosec and went back to sleep. Woke up again before 9 feeling some better, and have been up since. I can tell you this..there is no way I am going to be able to stay home for eight weeks. I can’t drive for a week, and my return appt is 3 weeks away. I will be changing that come Monday.
I’m playing with Modge Podge. I’ve never used it before. We’ll see what I come up with. The satellite is temporarily down, so we are trying to see if we can catch the Saints on the antenna. If not, we will watch it online.
Y’all have a nice day. ‘Tis gorgeous outside. OB, enjoy tonight. I would like to be a fly on the wall, however. I bet this goes down in the swanky magazine Jackson puts out.

  9. parrotmom says:

Clucky glad you are doing good. Just don’t get over zealous and hurt yourself.

  10. CluCky says:

PM, that seems to be the consensus among those closest to me. However, I have a ridiculously high pain threshold. That is how I knew it was time to get my neck fixed. The surgeon did tell us that in a healthy disk that it can be hard to remove, but mine just fell apart-meaning it was in bad shape and had been that way for a while. Within hours of surgery, I already had feeling back in places that had been numb for longer than I can remember.
    C’mon, Saints…pull this one out!

PS SusanQFlamingo had her beautiful baby boy Wednesday, but he’s having to spend a few extra days at the hospital. Y’all send prayers their way, please! Few things hurt more than having a baby, then coming home empty handed :(

I went to bed late last night and got up this morning around 830. I thought about Paul; homework! Jog for 30 minutes. I got up and ate 2 egg whites, some grapes and drink my water. I did 45 minutes of jogging and walking, sorry; couldn’t jog the whole time, but each time I start walking I heard Paul’s voice,” You better not walk”, so I start jogging again. I didn’t quit, I made it thru. We won’t give up. 1.2.3. Next Level for me.

I’m running tonight. Woke up with my legs in knots and then took a nap this afternoon. I’ll run early Monday morning before I go to work at 6 a.m.

  12. Airwolf says:

    Wow what a game!!

  13. CluCky says:

I couldn’t see the game…satellite is out. Watched via flipflops tweets and espn.com. What a heartbreaker.

I have had the worst heartburn since surgery. I’ve taken Gas-X, Tums, Prilosec…you name it. I look about 8 months pregnant. Sigh. If that’s the worst problem I have, it’s been a good experience.

Gnite, friends. About to curl up with my Ice packs, meds and see if I can find the back of my eyelids. I haven’t napped all day. Actually hurts more to lay down than to sit up.

Had a wonderful engagement party! Lots and lots of folks, plenty of food, good piano music. Received lots of compliments on our daughter. Didn’t get a final count, but I bet we had at least 200 there. That’s a big….no huge home and lovely to boot. Had three fireplaces going and a sheriff’s car with blue lights running sitting in the middle of the street the whole time to slow people down so folks could cross the street. It was State Street so you know how difficult that can be to cross.

Mornin’ folks! Earliest I’ve been up since I could remember. &Great Coach story MR. Up to see my folks off, they’re headed back y’alls way to attend my niece’s bday party today. We all went downtown yesterday & spent the day wandering thru campers @ the RV show inside the Edwards Jones Dome. Making plans for a family fun-filled summer ahead. I think I’m as excited as all the kids. (’bout exploring America again)
