I feel about as disgusted about waking up early as Banjo is when he walks in snow (see picture).

Good morning! I spent most of the morning putting together a list of recent stuff I’ve written, so this will be a little shorter than normal.  I need to go Christmas shopping soon and I want to beat the crowd.  And myself with a hammer for waiting this late to get it done.

Weather. Who knows. Will it be hot? Will it be cold? You never know around here. Actually it will be in the middle — 52 with a slight chance of rain.

South Korea to hold live-fire drills in spite of North Korean threat to go nuclear. Soon that part of the world will be like Rudolph:  You could even say it glows.

Bones found on island may be Amelia Earhart’s remains. It would bring closure to one of the 20th Century’s biggest mysteries, but would be a sad knowing that she died alone on an island.

The legacy of TRON. Wasn’t a huge TRON fan back in the day, but I do think the new movie looks cool. An anything that brings acting great Bruce Boxleitner back into the spotlight is quality entertainment.

Tax Bill (now law) Update: The President signed it and it included an extension of GO-ZONE legislation. Which is very good news for development in our area in this era of tight credit.

Oil Spill update: Gov’t reportnot much subsea oil, but still tar mats in the area.
