Good Tuesday morning!!! How is your day going? Love and hugs to all.

  2. Mrs. H says:

    6:37 a.m.

After a very wet day yesterday, it is breezy and clear at the moment. I think we’re supposed to get more rain later today, though. Going with the girls to talk to the wedding cake lady this afternoon. Then the eldest is cooking dinner because FSIL is coming our way this evening. Chicken Cordon Bleu.

  3. Legal Eagle says:

MrsH, when is the wedding? We would love for you and your family to be able to come to the 4th Annual MRBA Picnic this year and it is in the planning stages now. In fact, the floor is open for suggestions.

    • Mrs. H says:

      May 19th.

With mine and Rexi’s birthdays in May, as well as both of Mr. H’s parents, and our anniversary, we were most pleased that the eldest was born in November and Em in October. Then came El in May (2 days after my birthday) and now another anniversary! May is THE month in our family.

  4. blues4you says:

    Good morning.

Sure hope I can make it to the picnic this year.

Red beans and rice w/fried rabbit last night. Plenty left for lunch today.

  5. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

Hope everyone has a great day!

  6. OldBopper says:

Mawnin’! Rather crisp out there today. Cardinal mentioned the yellow finches yesterday and we bought some extra sunflower seed for the feeders. Those little rascals arrive hungry! Speaking of yellow, after the finches comes the pine pollen….yuck.

Somebody with “cutie” in their name has been trying to message me all morning. This has got to stop. I don’t message and if I did I doubt “cutie” would be on my list. The spammers are determined to mess up the privacy of cell phones and I hate it. Pretty soon we’ll be getting robo calls…..I hope not!

  7. msblondie says:

    morning gang!

    everyone have a great day!

  8. Molly says:

Mornin. We should get the result of Kiddo’s MRI back today. I REALLY hope she doesn’t need knee surgery, but I’m afraid she will. It hurts her constantly.

  9. OldBopper says:

Aha! Thanks to the web, I think “Cutie” is history. Molly, hoping Kiddo doesn’t need surgery.

  10. parrotmom says:

    Is it 4:30 yet?

  11. Mrs. H says:

Mr. H’s new job has offices in a little row of storefronts across the street from the Shed. The place next door to him has been empty for a few months. I just received this message from him: “There goes the neighborhood. They are putting up the sign next door. Lush Bar and Grill.”

Seriously? He’s going to send a picture.

  12. Legal Eagle says:

I hope they have cages suspended from the ceiling for the go-go dancers to get into and perform!

  13. Airwolf says:

I just trimmed my rose bushes, now let’s see if I killed them.

    • msblondie says:

I have one I would love to trim.. but it likes to bloom in the dead of winter. I am afraid I will kill it if I trim it.

  14. OldBopper says:

Boule is in the shop for new “shoes”. Pirelli MT 66’s on both tires.

Glad the weather is turning out to be good for the “State of the State” speech tonight. Might listen to it. Will not listen to the “State of the Union” as I already know it’s sick as hell and the prognosis isn’t getting better. Congress is a cancer determined to undermine democracy as we know it.

  15. parrotmom says:

Evening everyone. Up to my ussual stuff—running and taking care of pets and pet. Do you think PD would be offended knowing I called him a Pet? Give him a few minutes and he want remember. (Bad joke) I think he is overly medicated at times, but he said the doctors said it would take time for them to sink in or work. I am not sure. I know some meds they say it takes several weeks before you get the real benefit from them so here’s hoping they are right.

  16. dhcoop says:

    Evenin.

PM, I bet you are worn out.

I’m watching AI. Some good talent this year.

  17. Mrs. H says:

Got a wedding cake and a groom’s cake picked out and ordered. I need to remember to mail the lady a deposit check tomorrow. I don’t carry the checkbook around with me since I use my debit card for just about everything. Actually the checkbook lives in my bible bag since the church is about the only thing I write a check for now. Actually, the church is set up for online giving, but I see and record that service fee every month. I’d rather the church get the whole thing, not just 98.5% less $0.50.
