Good morning.
Mornin, Blues. How are ya?
I’m ok Molly. A little melancholy thinking about how many valentine’s I’ve missed the past 28 years.
That’s ok, Blues. Just make EVERY day Valentine’s Day when you go home!
She’s right Blues. What good does it do to make that day special and ignore the rest. To paraphrase the rabbit (I think) or is the mad hatter in Alice in Wonderland, happy un-Valentines day. Remember, his point was we have only one birthday and 364 unbirthdays? hee hee
This year, there are 365 unbirthdays!
Mawnin’ y’all. Is the sun expected to peek through today before the rain starts? Glad I got my ride in yesterday afternoon. Did about 60 miles on back country roads and the interstate.
Hope everybody has a good day. AW, still thinking about your folks along with PD, Clucky, and Crystal Butterfly. If I missed anybody, chalk it up to old age. Put MrsH on the list too hoping her trip to Peru will be a complete success.
Mornin!
morning gang!
Last night hubby surprised me big time. Told him I didnt want anything yesterday.. well after supper (steaks we got from Omaha Steaks) he hands me a bag. And in it was a beautiful silver and diamond ring.
Everyone have a great day!
Sweet!
Good morning everyone. Happy 50% off Valentine day candy :)
Wow!! MsB that sounds lovely. I bet it did set you back a bit what a nice gift.
Em’s boyfriend took her to MacAllister’s in Mobile last night. On the way, he told her that he hadn’t gotten her anything yet. When they walked in, he gave a sign to someone who works there and they brought out a dozen pink roses and a big cupcake balloon! (FYI: baking cupcakes is her new venture) He looked for tulips (her favorite)
The eldest was expecting flowers delivered to the bank where she works (8 am to 8pm, 3 days a week). Didn’t happen. Right before closing, FSIL walks up to her window! He lives in Diamondhead, which is at least and hour and a half away. He figured that for what it was going to cost to have the orchid delivered, he could bring it in person and take her out to eat. It was a happy day for at least 2 of my 3 girls.
Morning! I’m excited! My boss likes the local ediorial cartoon I drew last night. Will debut in the 22 newspaper! Marshall thanks for the inpiration. I will post it on our website to be viewed next Wednesday morning. YES!!!
A budding editorial cartoonist? I’m glad to hear it, CL! You go girl!!!
Alright. I need some help. Who lives near Flowood? I’m going to be doing some investigative reporting in the next couple of days and I need an inside person in the police department or someone in that area to talk to me. Let me post the story then you will understand where I’m coming from.
Lester Jones Jr., a 2002 Pontotoc High School graduate, and son of Lester R. Jones Sr. and Mildred Jones of Tupelo, has been missing since January 11, 2010.
He was going to the Jackson area to meet with some of his Mississippi State fraternity brothers but never arrived. He was last seen in Flowood, Miss.
Lester’s case will be featured tonight, Wednesday, February 15, on a new show called “Find Our Missing.”
This show will air at 8:00 p.m. central time on TV1, which is channel 328 on Directv and channel 904 on Dish Network.
If you do not have this channel, the full episode will be available on their website after it airs on television. It can be viewed at http://www.tvone.tv/ shows/find-our-missing.
My boss wants me to watch the airing then follow up with some reporting.
I did a search on Comcast (Infinity) and Find Our Missing comes on channel 173 (TVONE) tonight and it is the segment you are talking about. I wasn’t sure we could tune in to that station, but I tried it and it was coming in fine. Flowood and Pearl touch borders. I don’t know the current police chief in Flowood, but the Flowood Mayor’s mother lives in Pearl and attends activities at the Pearl Senior Center.
Oh yes, Legal, I’m sorry. The channels will be different for your neck of the woods. Neither direct nor dish have a universal except for those channels they can’t change.
oops! comcast is cable. Redbird needs to go eat lunch. I’m not half reading. Sorry.
Afternoon. Wasn’t planning on spending all day at the capitol. But, I have to admit I enjoy it.
MsBlondie, I think you had a great Valentine’s day! Good for you!
MrsH, our youngest daughter loves tulips too. It’s hard to believe your second is old enough to go to Mobile with her boyfriend. I like that boy’s mode of operation.
She’s 17. No longer eligible for the additional child tax credit :(
Dang Lady, you’re getting old. ;~)
I’ll take Things You Never Say to a Lady for $500, Alex.
LOL!
LOL!!!
Evenin!
You folks crack me up! Watching for the predicted rain but nothing so far
Rain just got here. 7:49 pm
Rain was here by 7:15. It has really come down!
Blues, I think you won that square!
