Saturday Free-For-All

Good morning! I woke up at 3:50 and thought, “I don’t have to get up!” Slept until 7:30 and then took the older boys out for a rainy, cold four-plus mile run.  Now they’re making breakfast and I’m cleaning house.

Soggy here. Lots of rain this morning and no end in sight for a few hours yet. I’m hoping we will clear by late afternoon….4 pm or so. With luck, it will clear sooner.

Prayers for all who need them……Orville, Corn Pop, PD, PM, AW’s Father, Clucky, and MrsH. If I missed anyone, God will know who they are.

Afternoon, ran out in the ran to have my chicken quesadilla at El Sombrero. Alone again naturally.

I’ve had some apple cinnamon muffins and started another great Kathy Reichs book. I’ve forced one cat outside and then let her back in later and am stalling the dog off from insisting on a trip outside.

Still a sprnkle or two. I have been cold most of the day. PD is in short sleeves and no complaints !

I think I am relieved and ticked off at the same time over the same problem. Don’t tell me you will see me on Friday (yesterday) and going to spend some days then never show, call, or text!! Some people’s spots never change.

Daddy was exceptionally bright today. Seems like his old self, if he can just walk! They have spent all week with strengthening exercises. Walking starts next week.

I hope you all have a pleasant evening! Prayers and hugs all around.

9:30 Sunday morning. Been to Men’s Breakfast and early Church. Sang hymns with lots of alleluias as there will be no more alleluias until Easter Sunday. Ash Wednesday is this week and that is the start of Lent.
