    Mornin!

    Wet AND chilly this morning.

  4. Mrs. H says:

Mr. H took my car this morning so I’m delivering the eldest to work so I can use her car to take myself to the doctor’s office today to get my hand X-rayed. (there are an inordinate number of the words “so” and “to” in that sentence. I apologize.) The consensus from the doctor and nurse (church members I saw at church last night) is that there is a distinct possibility of a broken bone. I also have a lunch meeting with our Peru mission team today. Busy, busy…

Mornin. Hubby’s car broke down yesterday afternoon. He picked Kiddo up from school and they didn’t quite make it home. I think he got some bad gasoline. He put some in yesterday morning from a station where I’ve heard of people getting bad stuff before. The car is sitting in a shop now to be looked at today. I have no idea how much it costs to fix such a thing.
In the meantime, I had to take him to work this morning. He has to be there by 6:00; however, I needed to be already home by 6:00 or so to get my shower and get Kiddo up and going, so we left the house around 5:15. I will take a late lunch today and pick him up at 2:00. Hopefully, the car will be repaired by this afternoon and he can drive himself tomorrow.

morning gang! the rain has not help settle my allergies which is a bit unusual. I think in part this from everything blooming so early this year.

    everyone have a good day!

  7. OldBopper says:

If I remember correctly, we got 3.18 inches of rain yesterday and have received 1.13 inches since midnight. That’s at the Jxn airport. Anyway, rain is out of the way right now and looks like it may stay that way.

  8. dwb810 says:

Good Morning Everyone! Nice swim this morning – into work I mean and will be a nice swim home. But you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain.

  9. Legal Eagle says:

Good morning! I was up reading until 3:00 a.m. and the rain was still coming down. I went to one of the book clubs yesterday to discuss “The Other Boleyn Girl” and then to the Brandon senior center to play bridge.

I have 4 tables of bridge this afternoon, so I will be AFK until later. Y’all have a great day!

  10. Airwolf says:

Afternoon! We have had about 3 inches so far! It’s still raining but should stop soon. I am proud to announce no leaks with my new roof. First time in a long while we’re dry!

I’ve got to go get Mom in a while and let her visit Daddy.

  11. dwb810 says:

Okay, putting my floaties on and heading to a head-hunter who called me yesterday about a permanent position.

  12. msblondie says:

    everyone have a good evening.

I got bingo with my men at the va tonight. have Easter bags for them.

  13. Mrs. H says:

somehow I posted the following on yesterday’s FFA. sorry about that. I’m on El’s iPad so I may be awaiting moderation for a while.

No broken bones in the hand (HOORAY!!!) I was at the doctor’s office during the worst part of the storm. Lightning took something out in town and their computers and phones were down. The lights kept blinking so they put everything on the generator and I got to have my hand X-rayed. The swelling is less today than yesterday but just as blue. Probably a broken blood vessel, which I could see in the first minute after I got my hand out.

  14. parrotmom says:

So glad no broken broken bones, MrsH.

Evening. You would have to take your shoes off to keep count of all the problems he has. They just did a CT scan of his chest. If he is not on a bipap machine his oxygen SAT level drops in the 80s and as low in the 70s. I would not be surprised if he has a blood clot or 2.

  16. Legal Eagle says:

Home at last! We had a good bridge group today. Well, all of our games in Pearl are good.

I have a high school graduating class ladies’ salad luncheon tomorrow and everyone is taking salad of some kind. I solved my problem the easy way. We went to Newk’s and ate. I never thought I would order a pimiento cheese sandwich in a restaurant, but love theirs, all hot and gooey, and had half a Caesar salad with it. Then I ordered a favorite salad and boxed it up with plenty of toppings and bread sticks and I’m ready for tomorrow. You can’t go to the store and buy the stuff to make a salad like that anywhere near the price of just buying one already made. Yeah, me, or I should say, yeah, BE, the capers are already kicking in!

  17. Old Bopper says:

We ate at Newks tonight. Veggie pizza and Newk’s favorite salad.

IMHO, Jamie Lynn Curtis is awful on NCIS. Got a feeling I’m about through watching that show. Too much talk and not enough action. I’ll give it one more week before pulling the plug.
