Thankfully Friday is here!! Hope everyone has a great day and a fantastic weekend. I understand it will be beautiful.

PD’s CT scan came back with no obstructions or blood clots. That’s great!!! Now what could be causing his oxygen levels to drop. They are so quick to move someone out of the hospitals but I really thought they were pushing it and would love to see the nursing notes as to what they were reporting about his behavior? Oh well, bigger fish to fry today so I guess I better get to the task at hand.

Lots of thunder and lightning this morning. I’ve got my laptop running on battery power only, just in case of a strike. Mrs. Jones is mental! AND I’m typing with all 10 fingers, which is a definite improvement over the past few days.

Good morning. Looks like the start of a beautiful weekend. I’m toying with going to the big cycle show at the trade mart on Saturday. They claim there will be 5 to 6 thousand cycles in attendance.

Glad to hear your hand is useful MrsH. I’m looking forward to having both eyes seeing alike. I read with the old one and drive and watch tv with the new one. One goes with my glasses and one doesn’t. Its a small inconvenience for what should be the final outcome.

Wishing all of you a great day.

I am at home without a car today. You know what that means? No one can expect me to run any errands for them! I can spend the entire day with my sewing machine (if the lightning doesn’t interfere, of course.) And if it does, there’s always knitting. I’m a happy camper. : )

    Good morning.

The fog…it is thick this morning.

    Mornin!

Yes, it was a foggy drive in this morning. Happy Friday!

morning gang! hope all have a good friday.

i feel like a bobble head with my allergies – i am rotating clarintin (walgreens brand) with Zyrtec(walmart brand). it is helping.. but think the allerigents are just over abuntant this year since we didn’t have a winter and spring was here so early.

  8. Airwolf says:

Morning folks! My head is bigger than the door openings. Hangover nope, just well pollinated@&$?!

  9. Airwolf says:

I killed it hammer dead huh! Give me the crown!

  10. parrotmom says:

Sorry to leave you out there by yourself AW. I went out at lunch and did not want to come back. It is beautiful.

  11. Mrs. H says:

Still looks nasty here, but it did stop raining. I am now wearing the skirt that I spent the morning sewing. I have the next one cut out and have noted the changes that I will make. It’s been a good day!

  12. Mrs. H says:

Oops, I stand corrected. The sun just came out between a break in the clouds!! The blue sky must be over the back yard, because out the front windows, it’s still overcast.

Hello boys and girls. Long day for me. I woke up at 1am and have not been back to sleep yet. We had a student and mentor kick-off meeting at 8 so I had to be at the University at 6:30. Everything went off without a single hitch. I am one tired puppy.

  14. Old Bopper says:

Afternoon. Warm and sunny outside. Been trying to do a little house cleaning but have a long way to go before I can pronounce it acceptable. By that I mean good enough to pass an Army inspection (those ain’t too tough). I’d like to have it Navy field day clean. That’s spotless. Those inspectors wear white gloves and they don’t like getting them soiled.

    Evenin!

MrsH, I’m glad your hand is better and PM, glad PD’s scans were good!

I’m a happy camper. Just potted up tomatoes (Black Krim, Goliath & Big Beef) and peppers (cayenne, chili, Tabasco, pimento & jalapeno) and got serious dirt under my fingernails. Felt great!! I stopped at a little nursery in CS and bought several things (obviously) and potted up some to take to the office for our garden there and the rest will go into the garden I’m doing with Friend and G in CS. I’m excited!!

I haven’t talked to my BFF in Oregon, but I just saw a post on fb by a mutual friend that her hubby is doing better. That was great news. Thanks again for the prayers. Every one helps.

Coop nothing like a little dirt to make you feel good about. Glad to hear your friend is improving.

Hope everyone has a good evening.

Neither one of us could sleep last night and I ended up getting up at 3:30 a.m. and getting some coffee. BE was already up then. I dozed a little about 7:30 and had to be up again for our class ladies salad lunch today. It was good; there were about 10 of us there and one came who hadn’t been before, so it was nice to see yet another friend of 50 years ago.

I came home and made a comment on here and didn’t copy it before I posted it and, of course, son of pluck erased it for me. I fell asleep this afternoon and slept a few hours, so I guess now I can stay up all night. Oh, well, I’m reading another good book.

  18. Legal Eagle says:

Now it looks like I have taken over the blog killer crown. Yea, me!

  19. OldBopper says:

Mawnin’ y’all! Another beautiful day to enjoy. Think I’m going down by the Trade Mart for the Motorcycle Show later this morning.

    6:58 am Saturday

  20. parrotmom says:

I was awake before 5:00 am on Saturday morn. Not very productive. Ready to leave to go spend time with PD and then to work for a while. In my opinion PD is not doing well, numerous things that I know, see, and have been through before with my parents I see again. I have tried to comfort him in the fact that I am ok and will be fine and that I LOVE him dearly. Then again he could be back to normal in a couple of weeks but the “spells of delirum” are more often and lasting longer and longer.
