    Morning folks! I’m headed to the farm, all the lawns are overgrown from all the rain.

    We hope to go to a crawfish boil at the Play Garten Park this evening!

      I think I need t know where this place is. Will shrimp be involved also? LOL! I’m only going as far as my front yard this evening. I’m in the mood for a fire and some fireside talk with my CardinalSon.

    Well I’m off today as usual why? Lots to start on it Sherrie the motivation. Been awake since my normal time. Having lunch at Applebee’s in Clinton. Played with the kitties guess time for the parrot.

    Anyone watching Grey’s Anatomy? Who do you think will be missing from the plane crash?

    Dear Lord, How we thank you that the man who would take those lives has been dealt with. We are sorry it had to come to such a violent bitter end. How we pray for the girls who have had to go through so much these past ten days. Please put people in their lives to surround them and shower them with love as they deal with the pain of no longer having their mom and older sister. God, I can’t imagine, but you can. Please send Your holy angels of comfort to surround them. Draw them to Your great heart and may they find peace, solace and love at the end of this horrific event. We love YOU and thank YOU for justice. In YOUR precious name, Amen.”

    Hey Blues, the guy that has been cutting mine hasn’s shown up yet. Not like him I guess he is waiting for the next 500 plus Magnolia leaves to fall. Ok by me. I did want my yard looking good for tomorrow being PD’s and my 28th anniversary.

    So far I haven’t accomplished too much, but I do know my check book is balanced. Yea for me!

    Afternoon! I went to see “Iron Lady” at the Pearl Library this afternoon. I can see why Meryl Streep won the academy for best actress for her role as Margaret Thatcher, but the movie itself was pretty terrible. Every time one of these horrible movies wins a lot of academy awards, I ask myself: “Why?” I will never forget getting rooked into watching “The English Patient,” which in my humble opinion was about the worst movie ever made. After watching the Iron Lady previews, BE passed on accompanying me to the movie and I told him that he truly made a wise decision.

    We have our Brandon Day tickets; we have our Brandon Day t-shirts. Now I’m wondering if we’re going to have to sit in the rain or maybe miss going at all. Rain, rain, go away; come again another day.

    Had my lunch and then a hour nap. I found out my grandson had Senior day today he received a double full scholarship and advanced honors. I know which side of the family the family the brains came from.

    Busy day today. FSIL’s mom and her friends had a shower/lunch for the eldest at Salute’ in Gulfport today. We picked up Mr. H’s mom on our way there and had a great time. One of the ladies gave them a picnic basket full of fun stuff including squirt guns! When we got home, we discovered that the UPS man had delivered another mini shower. I think all the groomsmen (who were still up at MSU awaiting graduation today and tomorrow) got together one day this week and went on-line shopping together. There were 4 big boxes containing tea kettles and toasters and assorted bakeware. The groom us up there with them right now, so he got to pass along personal thank yous.

    Evenin!

    It’s been a LONG week! I’ve put in more hours than normal, but I’m not complaining. I still don’t put in the hours that some folks (like Marshall) do.

    Looking forward to the weekend! We are having a “pajama party” tomorrow night at Mom & Dad’s. A & Poppy will be there, and I’m hoping lil sis will too. Wish Big Sis could be here, but…that’s not happening. So, we’ll have a big time and celebrate Mothers Day as a bunch of Mothers should. Laughing and telling stories and enjoying each others company. Mom will love having us there.
