Slept like a baby last night. The ride back from Arkansas was tiring. It was the first time my behind hurt since acquiring a Mustang seat. I think it was because I only stopped for gas and got back on immediately thereafter.
It seems like I’ve been gone for a long time and need to catch up on everything. So I guess I’ll spend the rest of the day catching up. Y’all be sweet.
All the paper lanterns are done.
All the burlap roses are made.
The dress is bustled.
The reception table flower arrangements are all done.
Need to cut 2 more table runners for the bridal party tables. (Oops!)
Need to hem maroon fabric that goes under the quilt my grandmother made which will go under the family wedding pictures in the church foyer.
Need to sew button back on Mr. H’s suit.
But first, we need some groceries!
Afternoon! I love it when I manage not to schedule anything for the whole day. I watched President Obama on The View and I’ve been reading a good book and drinking coffee. BE has gone to get an inspection sticker on my car. I’m looking forward to the Pearl Mayor’s Prayer Breakfast at 7:00 a.m. Friday, which kicks off Pearl Day, and then looking forward to the Pearl Day concert Saturday night with Sawyer Brown, Restless Heart and South of 20.
Afternoon! I built Rambette an above ground veggie box this morning. 4X8 feet and about 12 inches deep. We wanted a few veggies here in addition to the farm. I got hot!
Doggone it! Looked at Boule this morning and saw that one of the front running/signal lights has lost a lens. It’s going to be hard to find a replacement one and the naughty little screw that’s supposed to hold it on. But I’m a looking.
AW, it’s probably my fault. Took the lens off last week to check the bulb because the other burned out. I put the lens back on and must not have tightened the screw enough.
I think I have burlap fibers inside my nose and lungs.
But the runners are done (with big maroon K’s on each end, as she will be Mrs. K) and the pew ties are cut.
Mr. H’s button is even sewn on!
Tomorrow’s job is to put ‘no fray’ stuff on the edges of the runners.
I think I’m tired….
Evening everyone. Was watching Modern Marvels on the History Channel. Todays topic had to do with all things in the bathroom. From showers, tubs, toilets, paper, and toothbrushes, paste, and mouth washes. Was very educational. Happy to know I live when I do. Yes, I remember outhouses from visiting some older relatives, but I do appreciate the indoor plumbing.
Hello Everyone! Been missing in action. New job going OK. Accounting system is a bit antiquated. They still HAND code invoices. I am a little amazed given the size of the company.
The judges on America’s Got Talent have to sift through a lot of nuts to find the jewels! I don’t know about Howard Stern yet. I’ve never thought much of him.
We apparently have free HBO this month on DISH. I came across Jerry Macguire on Encore and Mr Fab and I watched the last half of it.
Phone meeting tomorrow with my disability claim rep. They need to hurry up with the $$. It’s been over a month since I got a check. I totally understand the meaning of “working poor.”
I started watching AGT, but got sidetracked and ended up not watching it. I did watch the two-hour season ender of Survivor this afternoon and found out who won. I still need to watch the reunion show, but BE came home and couldn’t stand to watch another hour of it today. Criminal Minds should be good tomorrow night. It’s a two-hour season ender.
Good morning!!! Hope everyone has a good day. I hope today is better than yesterday.
Mawnin’ y’all. A beautiful day today.

Hello DWB! I agree you would think they would not be so old school.
Evenin.
Been watching NCIS finales. Intense.
Evening. Class night was good. M got Mississippi scholars and Beta Service award. She also is graduating with special honors. I am so proud of her.
Sweet dreams to all.

Congratulations to MsBlondie’s M for her special honors!! I know MsBlondie is a proud Mom tonight!!
Leagle, I didn’t watch tonight because I was all up in my NCIS, but I was, surprisingly, impressed by Stern last night.
