Mornin!
Absolutely beautiful out this morning. About to have breakfast, then get back to projects.
Good morning. We got home about 11:30 last night and only unloaded the essentials from the car. Everything else is now inside. Rexi posted an early pic of the happy couple!! (which I have shared on my FB wall for those of you who are so inclined) I’m in the process of posting some of my unofficial snapshots. It’s a beautiful day.
Oh, did I mention that our A/C went out Friday night?
My front porch looks like a jungle. I now have 8 of the most enormous ferns I have ever seen out there. They were perfect in the church yesterday.
MrsH your unofficial pics are awesome some grat memories to always cherish.
Forgot to give the parrot his shower yesterday since he usually has them on Sundays. So now he is clean, his cage is clean and now to see about how to make myself look and feel happy.
The notary photo that I want Aw and OB is in FB. They have found the pic of my dad and a couple of other soldiers but this is not the one I want seen. It is under my wall photos and it is of several high ranking officers. I posted it about 9:00 pm on Saturday night.
I finally found his service card was from
October 25, 1950 to oct 14. 1952. He was a Corporal, artillery.
Morning! Been to church and back home. Eager to see the pictures everyone has posted.
I’m going for the pictures in a minute.
The Cajun Festival is going on today at St. Frances of Assini Catholic Church in Madison and the Greek Festival winds up today at their church on Pear Orchard.
DANGGIT!! Got popped right in the top of the head by a big ol red wasp!!! Teach me to work outside without my hat, even though I’m in the shade. G applied one of those sting stopping things that Friend keeps on hand since he got stung so bad last year, but it’s still throbbing. We were just about to mix the first batch of mortar for the mosaic. Project currently on hold to make sure I’m okay. Swelling has commenced. CRAP!!
Use a wet cigarette!
Luckily, you only got popped once. The flying hellion that got me a couple of years ago popped me 5 or 6 times in succession and it took several months for the knots to go away.
If you want to see some beautiful mosiac tables, go to the Azteca in Brandon. Two of the women who work there did them and each one is different and each one more beautiful than the last. And you can get the best Mexican food in the surrounding area while you’re there.
Ribs are cooking, about to make tater salad and a green salad to go with them. Yep, cooking for my own bday, but I’m not complaining! I’ll be headed to Morton about 4 to take pictures for a friend. An excuse to ride with the top down, but I think I’ll wait until it’s finished so I don’t look a hot mess-literally! Planning to stop and pick up my muscle relaxers on the way. I imagine I’ll be popping in on Dr. Fred to beg for trigger point injections while I’m in Jackson for another appt; I have had a pain in the neck all weekend (and no, I’m not naming names..LOL)
I’ll try to check in later.
Love y’all and thanks for all the birthday wishes!
There’s nothing like a pain in the neck, named or otherwise.
CLUCKY!!!
HIPY PAPY BTHUTHDTH THUTHDA BTHUTHDY which translates as A Very Happy Birthday with love from Pooh
afternoon gang! beautiful day! Had graduate recongition at church today. it was fun seeing all the pictures. Our church gave each grad a very nice gift – a bible, a devotional, and a book. I have been out in the yard since getting home tending to my garden.. pictures will be on FB in a few. Also have been spraying poison ivy.. it is taking over the yard.
Happy Birthday Clucky!
all have a good afternoon.
Evening everyone from Louisiana
We just got back from seeing Battleship. BE’s been wanting to see it for a while now and it was pretty good, not wonderful, but entertaining.
