Morning! I had to take my Chevy truck to the glass shop this morning. My mower must have thrown a pebble while I was mowing. The entire back glass was broken and fell out! Grrrr

Afternoon! Rain is coming! My boss is ticked. He wanted to play golf. My tomatoes wants some moisture. I guess tomates win out today. :)
My first cousin called me all frantic a bit ago. She is trying to pull off a surprise 50th wedding anniversary party for her parents this weekend. She has a lady who is going to replicate her parents wedding cake. Her daughter went to the shelf where the wedding photos have been the past 20 years and it’s gone. She knows my dad is the photographer of the family so she called me and asked if I could get the pic for her from dad’s collection. Told her I’d get right on it. So I’ll be traveling down memory lane with mom this afternoon.
everyone have a good evening.. about time to get out of here. have a youth trip meeting tonight at church for M. they leave next week. I am not sure where they are going or anything.. i know bad mom.. just so much on my plate right now.

We’re having Krystal cheeseburgers and fries and banana smoothies. If we don’t go over there often, it’a amazing how wonderful they are all hot and steamy!
It’s been raining bucketfuls over here and it’s still thundering a lot.
We are getting the type rain you need, slow and hopefully soaking in to the ground.

HUGE THANK YOU to the Entergy linemen that are out in this crap restoring power to spoiled folks like me. No power in Gtown when I arrived, but had a message that it should be restored by 8 p.m. It came on a little after 7. Another call from Entergy told me there had been a limb on their equipment and power had been restored. I was already sitting in AC by that time.
Drove through some really rough stuff getting here, but it’s all better now. I think the worst has passed, but I haven’t checked the radar. May do that now.
