I think CornPop needs to give us a shout in to update us on Orville. I sure do miss so many of our members that seem to have dropped by the wayside. Molly, AnneO, Barb. Tank, JB, BPman, and many, many, others. You are all missed.

Yawn!! Good Morning, MRBA. There was a three-hour rain delay for Game 3 of the WCWS, but I stayed up well past midnight to see the final out. It was well worth it. Alabama won the first WCWS championship for the SEC by defeating Oklahoma 2 games to 1. This is a very big deal, people. Not only did they win the first for the SEC, they did it with non-California girls, which is also a very big deal. I believe I heard that no team has ever won the WCWS with fewer than four girls from CA on its roster. Know how many Caly girls AL has on its starting roster–ZERO! May be the entire roster, but I’m not sure of that. Their fantastic pitcher is from Florida. The pitcher from Oklahoma is awesome, too, and I’m not taking anything away from her. She is the well-deserved national player of the year and scored the first run for OK with a solo home run shot to right field. But know where she’s from? San Jose, CA. Just very satisfying to show that we know how to play some softball in the Southeast, too. You won’t hear this MSU girl say it very often, but ROLL TIDE!

GG, didn’t know about the rain delay and got rather ticked when I switched to the softball game and it wasn’t on. Probably wouldn’t have stayed up that late anyway, but I do enjoy girls college softball.
Been out riding this morning and plan to continue for a couple more hours. It’s really a great morning for a ride. Right now I’m at Dunkin’ Donuts in Pearl on my mini computer.

Sitting here at Dunkin’ Donuts I have realized I can hear the air blowers for drying hands. An observation: Men wash their hands way more often than women.
Morning! flying through! Just now getting settled in. Everybody is gone today except for my editor, the girl who composes ads and myself. Quiet around here finally. We’ve been having “fun” answering the phones. Maybe it will settle down … oops NOT … okay back. I’ve got to peruse some emails for my story I’m writing. Be back later.

Great news for the SEC Bama girls!
Approximately 3 months ago my thyroid Tsh was at .008 basically dead and very hyper. Doctor only dropped the medication from 125 mcg to 100 mcg. I didn’t think that was enough but then again I am not a doctor. I had my Tsh checked yesterday well back up but only to .133 still way below normal. I wonder what they will drop the medd to next week?
Film canister rockets today. Chemical reaction (alka-seltzer and water releasing CO2) rather than yesterday’s physical reaction (balloon releasing air). I am dog tired. Make that dawg tired. That sounds even more dragging. :)
