Morning!!! I was surprised to wake up to more storms this morning. Hope everyone is doing well and has power.

  2. Mrs. H says:

We had a storm come through about midnight. I slept right through it, but apparently Dr. T was posting a blow by blow to FB about the storm’s progress. He loves weather. It was very cool for our walk this morning. Probably the last cool weather we’ll have until September.

I want to know who ordered this all far crap? I don’t know which I felt worse about? Not letting the kittie girls stay inside or leaving the parrot!
I did get tickled that during the break in the storms that the mockingbird and Itty Bitty were back to there games again.

  4. parrotmom says:

I hope everyone has safe travels into their work places.

According to Weather Underground, we had almost 2.5 inches of rain yesterday. We kept the vacuum pump running until 4:30 this morning The “Dish” was rained out early in the evening. Thanks to ESPN, I was able to watch the baseball games on my computer with the high def screen.

More rain headed this way. At least it looks like AW is getting some relief on the coast.

    Mornin!

It must have gotten really bad in Jtown last night. When I got into downtown, there was debris everywhere! Raining again now.

PM, um… what is “far crap”?

Coop, you have to love auto correct or maybe having a blonde moment from a gray headed wonan:) Was supposed to be who ordered all this crap–meaning storms!

morning. took a hour for me to get from home to the vet (petsmart north) this morning cause people are so scared to drive in the rain.. just drive people, yes slow down some but don’t do 30 on the interstate in the fast lane and block everyone else that isn’t scared to drive.

I gota a call about 445 this morning from work that servers were down due to power outage. I walked the warehouse manager through to get them back up. Now to go fix other issues that the power outage has caused.

    Hey folks.

Had a pretty good storm come through my zip code about 3:00a.m. Lights went out on bullyduck from 8:30 til sometime after midnight last night.

  9. Legal Eagle says:

BE is in the camper right off I-20 past Clinton, so when I saw the storm line headed for him, I wondered if he had blown to Oz or floated away. I got in touch with him this morning and found out he’s still grounded. Our electricity popped off during the Bachelorette last night and I was saying, “Nooooooooo, not now!” They popped back on and then finally popped off again about 9:20. There was nothing to do but go to bed then. I woke up all through the night and the lights finally came back on sometime around 1:00 or 2:00 a.m. My dog, who hates to go out in the rain, couldn’t wait to go for a walkabout in the rain this morning with me under the umbrella. Oh, joy! Now I have to get dressed to be at a card game at noon. I’m glad Texas is finally getting some much needed rain.

I needed some info from Mark’s old computer. I went into his office and turned the machine on. Okay, there is no mouse. He took his (personally purchased) wireless one with him. I hunted around and found an old Dell USB mouse. Excellent! Now to type in the search for the forms I’m looking for. *sigh* The wireless keyboard has dead batteries…. I unplugged the keyboard from my desk and toted it next door, saved what I needed to a flash drive and brought my keyboard home.

  11. Legal Eagle says:

I won all the money today, so I came home $1.75 to the good! I told them I knew they wouldn’t invite me back for a while. That’s always the standard joke, that if you’re invited to substitute for somebody in their bridge group and win, that you won’t be invited back.

There is a century plant on Old Brandon Road that is blooming all the way to the telephone lines. I came home and looked century plants up on the internet and found out they live from 10 to 30 years before they bloom and after they bloom, they did. This one is spectacular!

  12. msblondie says:

everyone have a good evening. it is about time to wrap things up here.

  13. parrotmom says:

I seemed to have gone missing after this morning. If anyone finds me please let me know.

  14. parrotmom says:

LegalE I have a Century plant out in my courtyard. I basically don’t like it but it is there and some day it will bloom. I guess it has probably been there at least 15 years if not a couple of more.

  15. parrotmom says:

We had 3 1/2 inches rain total here last night and today and that doesn’t count what didn’t make it in the rain gauge when it was blowing side ways.

  16. Airwolf says:

Checking in! Beautiful day today and no rain.
There is a lot of damage back home from last nights storm. Some folks just got power about and hour ago. A large oak Mom and Dadddy planted the year I was born bit the dust and had to be cut out of the road. My son said we had limbs, leaves and twigs everywhere. Lineman and Baby Darling have a window blown out and the shop is damaged. BIL made some emergency repairs. We’ll have work when we get home.

    • parrotmom says:

Glad you finally had a nice day on vacation. So sorry for the damage back home. I hate to hear about the Oak tree but things just happen.

  17. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

Just rained here again. Maybe it’s over for now. The ground is about saturated.

  18. Clucky says:

Hey y’all… Guess what we were doing two years ago? OK, not AT THIS MOMENT, but today is me & Mr. Fab’s two year anniversary! (actually 10, but I digress.) Thanks again to all of you, dear sweet friends, for sharing that day with us!

    Love you!
(now where did I hide that popcorn and those air filters??)

  19. Mrs. H says:

I just watched the last episode of the current season of “Sherlock” on PBS. I am a huge Holmes fan and thought no one could top Jeremy Brett. I was wrong! Watch the first season on NetFlix and the current on PBS’s site. But hurry. It’s only available until the 19th of June. You’ve got time. Season is only 3 episodes. (Not NEARLY enough!)
