We had a house full yesterday. The eldest and her husband came to church with us and then Mr. H’s mom and sister drove up after church. We had the ribs that Mr. H had been nursing since 5 a.m. Wonderful. And a chocolate cake, too.

    Have a great week.

    Home sweet home!

Made it in around mid-afternoon yesterday. There were several large father’s day gatherings at some of my neighbors. I’m glad to see them using their week-end places a little more.

And speaking of neighbors, one just dropped off 6 homegrown ‘maters. Bacon is frying as I type this. I’ve got GREAT neighbors!

    Y’all pass a good day.

Bacon and tomato sandwiches, the nectar from the gods!

Our regular Monday bridge game got cancelled because our hostess came home Saturday to a busted water heater and had to wait until today to get someone over to install a new one.

lunch – bacon and mater sandwich here as well — this one of my maters.

Nice unhurried lunch at Olive Garden. Then a visit to a couple of stores. Went by the Farmer’s market and bought ONE tomato. If it has taste, will go back and get more. I’m tired of buying tasteless “Mississippi” grown tomatoes.

Bought a little good at the CSpire store that allows you to insert your phone card and copy the pictures to your computer. Nifty little gadget. Cost: $10. Getting ready to trash this Samsung Galaxy on July 2. Actually, my youngest daughter wants it.

  10. msblondie says:

Everyone have a good evening. about time to get out of here.

I am sure I will have plenty of tomatoes to pick tonight. They have all been riping at the same time.. my cherry ones seems like a dozen a day.

That’s about all my brain is good for yet. I’ll check back later.
