   the girls are headed to Ft. Walton for camp. I told them to take some games because it doesn’t look like they’ll spend much time on the beach!!

   Blues, I will be thinking of you and your family and keeping y’all in my prayers.

   My youngest child lives in Holliday, Florida, which is on the west coast and about 25 miles from Tampa. She said yesterday that the front of her apartment complex is flooded and that she probably wouldn’t be able to get to work today. Y’all please keep her and her ex and their 5-year-old daughter in your thoughts and prayers during all this torrential rain in the face of tropical storm Debby.

   Finished cutting the grass while the boys and PQ are in VBS. Trying to cool off before cleaning up.

   Afternoon! Bear and I have had a busy morning watering everything. It is very dry and No rain in the forecast. Try to stay cool if you’re out and about.

   The girls are gone. Mr. H and I are taking 2 days off this week for just the 2 of us. We’re starting off by going to Felix’s on the Bayway tonight. Some of our time will be moving into the eldest’s old room so we can take out a wall to make our room bigger.

    Just turned in my badge after almost 8 years. It’s been a wild ride but one that I needed to step off of for some time. No bells or whistles when I left, just “see ya ’round”. Not that it matters. I feel much better.

    Now just got to get busy freezing corn.

    Wow! PNC a big decision.

    I lost another one of my mom’s siblings this morning. She was the one took care of my mother in 87 and 88 before she died. She was my contact person for that side of the family. Counting PD I have lost five family members since New Year’s Eve. Almost one a month. This was the mother to the one that died on New Year’s Eve, cancer is such an ugly thing.
