There was a storm out in the gulf this morning. We could see the lightning but couldn’t hear the thunder.
That makes me want to listen to Jimmy Buffett tunes. :)
Yep, me too.
Good Tuesday morning. Happy day to you all. OB I know that was one long ride and so glad you both made it home safe.
Morning! Slept like a baby last night. Nothing like your own bed for a good sleep.
Hope all are doing well. Got to feed the birds and put the garbage out.
Mornin!
Hope we get some rain today.
morning gang! hope all have a great day!
Morning!
I’m pulling for rain, too. It rained to the west and to the east of my house last night. Grass would like a drink.
Morning! Talking with Big Sis this morning…Tuesday. Then I got to thinking today is Monday. This not working can make things very confusing sometimes. Doesn’t matter, I guess, what day it is.
We got a nice rain yesterday, gauge had 2″, hoping for more today. Everyone have a good day.
I know what you mean about not working and wondering what day of the week it is. Then I got out and got involved in different bridge groups, so I am better about knowing what day it is and where I’m supposed to be.
11:15 a.m. It’s been flooding in Pearl and it’s still raining, just not as hard. I just talked to a friend who lives at the reservoir and she said it’s not raining up there.
Been raining at the church for about 30 minutes. El says it just started at the house.
02:10pm
Just had a good rain here. A little over 1/2″.
Have any of y’all ever encountered this problem: We have the church calendar set up as a google calendar. When I print it, both the preview and the actual print-out are in English. When Mrs. Mac prints it out, the preview is in English but the paper that comes out of the printer is in Greek or Polish or some other language with dots, tildas, and carats over the vowels. Most frustrating.
MrsH it may be that her printer preferences aren’t computing with the google language. Don’t ask me how to set them in a pc. Sorry. I’m a mac girl and even then I have to call for a higher power than me at times.
Clouds are lingering here. It is nice to see a cloudy day. A week ago I was begging for rain. My tomatoes are finally perking up. The bottom crop pretty much rotted before it could get ripe.
MrsH, it sounds like a problem with the printer settings, but I don’t know how to fix it. A lot of good that did you, I know.
I have been throwing away a lot of junk and clutter and in going through some papers, I found our invitation to Clucky and Mr. Fab’s wedding. Now that’s a keeper!
Hello everyone! I hope everyone is kicking strong. The cat keeps trying to type his comments but I am mean and won’t let him. He is persistent if nothing else. The temperature has finally dropped below 105. 8 full days of 105+, almost feels chilly —NOT.
Hey DWB how is it going with you and the job. Glad you are having a cool down.
Job sucks! Thank you for thinking about me. It really does mean a lot to me. I am working diligently on a job hunt but it is a slow process. I know I will find my work home. I had a phone interview today and I spoke with a recruiter. Something will happen. Until then, smile and keep them wondering if you are happy or insane.
And if they look at you funny, say: “Would you like fries with that?”
Evening everyone. I hope everyone has had some in the past day or two. We sure are needing it.
:-)LOL
LOL! Only ’cause AW did first!
I laughed until I hurt!!
It’s been awhile for me… :)
oh my!!! laughing till it hurts. I guess to have put the rain in the comment would have been better. So glad I was able to get some laughter out of everyone :)
Late seeing this..but I even snorted. Heh.
I loaded my mower and headed to the farm but before I got 5 minutes from home, it came a flood. I went in up and unloaded and dropped my trailer. I’ll try again Thursday or Friday. Not complaining, we really need the rain.
I just cleaned my hummingbird feeder & there were LIVE bees inside! Sure hope they don’t come back up the sink drain. I was running hot water when I took it apart. Gives me the hebejebes!
Evenin!
I have a tad over an inch of rain so far, I like!
I enjoyed the laugh, PM!
I saw a really pretty double rainbow on the way home tonight. I tried to make some pictures and am about to see if any of them turned out.
Been staying busy with work and family. It’s been great having Big Sis home. BIL gets in this weekend. I know he’s looking forward to getting home to MS!
Going to look at my pics, then heading to sleepy town. Night y’all.
