Friday Free-For-All

Good morning. Banjo’s glucose is out of control again. We have no idea why this is happening and are quite worried. Poor dog. He’s a real fighter.

Morning! Sure hope Banjo gets better soon.

Got to get a move on. Headed South in a bit for our bi-annual Crab Leg eating with BIL. We go every time he comes home and this time made Coop wait for him to get here. I’m hungry already, may not eat all day! (Like that will ever happen-Ha).

Hope everyone has a good day!

Taking El&friend to the beach today. So far, it looks like a good day for it.
We now have a brand new condenser coil in our A/C. When the guy pulled out the torch, I told him about Rexi’s experience (they tried to burn his house down!) He promised he wouldn’t do that.

    Morning y’all. Pulling for Banjo.

I hope it works for you. (sigh) It’s raining again.

Cub had taken Meg for her surgery. He took her pillow, her squirrel and one of her towels & told me “They looked at me funny”. Sure, Meg is a dog but she’s his! And he’s worried as we all are at times for our pets. They become so much more that animals when they share our lives.

  9. Airwolf says:

Sunshine! Still much too wet to mow. I’ll have to bush hog it the way it has grown.

    Prayers for Orville and CP.

I hope they can figure out what’s going on with Banjo. Prayers are in order for MR. You can push too hard boss!

    Have a great day!

It just tears at the strings of my heart that Banjo is having trouble again. Our Lupe is about 8 1/2 now and she’s getting white hair around her muzzle. It’s hard to see a beloved family member getting older and having health problems, whether they be the 2-legged or the 4-legged variety.

Our picnic, band and movie at Pearl Park tonight has been cancelled due to the rain and will be rescheduled.

Got to hand it to Cat Cora, she knows how to handle a bad situation and got a pretty good mug shot too.

PQ just came home from getting her hair cut. Yea, yea, yea I love short hair on women and I do love that particular one.

OB, best I can tell, we’ve had at least 7″ of rain this week. No complaints from me-it’s wonderful to have green grass, blooming tomatoes and a new planting of zinnias already popping up!
    Got to get moving…

Clucky my cat broke my confederate rose bush you gave me. :( Will it come out from the roots again in a few days? I had it looking soooo good too. I put it beside the fish pool up against the house during the drought and I put fish water on it every other day. The leaves were four inches apart.

      • cardinallady says:

        I mean, four inches WIDE

Pooh! Smart alec computer! ‘you are posting comments too quickly slow down.’

oooookkkkaaaaayyyy let’s see if it goes this time.

        • Clucky says:

Yes ma’am, it should come back up. It may not bloom this year, but if fall is as hot as spring was, you may get flowers yet. Stick the piece that broke off in some water-they root very easily. That’s how we propogate them. Late fall before killing frost, take cuttings and put them in a bucket or big jar. We leave them outside, but where they get the most sun-on the south side. Come spring, you should have many more of them to plant and share :) we got ours from Coop’s parents!

Speaking of, Mr, Fab is all over their neck of the woods. His route has changed again. And again. And again…

  13. parrotmom says:

Evening eveyone!! hope you all enjoy this beautiful afternoon.
