Morning, morning, morning.
Clucky glad the migraine finally went away. I hope today will be better for you. Hope you all have a good day and Marshall I hope your youngest enjoys his first day of Kindergarten.
Happy Birthday MsB :)
Good morning. It’s Tech Thursday. I’ll spend a good bit of the day in the sound booth of the Children’s Theater. I’m getting better, though. And yesterday, I think I could have taught the copier/printer to sing if I’d had another 15 minutes!
I got a chill when you said that and I thought of all those documents we filed that were over 200 pages and had to be sent to around 30 people each.
Morning! Cloudy here this am. Wouldn’t mind a nice slow rain.
Happy Birthday, MsB.
Mornin!
Happy Birthday MsB!
Hope everybody has a great day.
morning gang!
thanks for the birthday wishes. I walked in an my office was done up. I will post the pics on FB in a few minutes.
Morning! I’m getting someone’s rain. Glad I cut my grass yesterday! I wish the other three were cut.
Happy day MsB!!
Chirp! Chirp! Splashing in! The rain is a blessing. Jon will have a yard to cut and a kitchen ceiling to putup when he gets home. Two sections of my cieling fell yesterday for no apparent reason other than the house must have shifted. The folks who had the house last put up a sheetrock cieling and painted over it, but put the screws TOO FAR apart. The actual first ceiling is pine board, which will be uncovered some time in the next year or two. Just can’t deal with that project and a bathroom project too. I feel like Clucky.
Happppppyyyyy biiiiirrrrttthhhdddaaayyy tooooooo youuuuuuu! Happppppyyyyy biiiiirrrrttthhhdddaaayyy tooooooo youuuuuuu!Happppppyyyyy biiiiirrrrttthhhdddaaayyy deeaarrrr MrsB. Happppppyyyyy biiiiirrrrttthhhdddaaayyy tooooooo youuuuuuu!
Dear Lord Jesus, many need your touch today. Hold those who are hurting. Give joy to those who are sad. And let those who are happy revel in the few joyous moments on this old earth. Teach us to love our enemies just as You love your enemies. That is beyond human comprehension and must come from You. Draw us all to Your great heart as we go about our tasks today. We will thank You for it and give You all the honor, glory and praise. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Amen.
Hope your projects get done without too much trouble.
Good morning! Happy Birthday MrsB!! Wishing you lots of smiles and hugs on your special day.
Grass is cut. Need to cool off a bit before jumping in the shower.
AW, I’m glad I don’t have more to cut. Bless you man!
My backyard needs mowing if any one wants some more fun. Also a couple of tree limbs fell in the roof a few days back and a toilet that decided to keep running yesterday. I just turned the water flow off to it. PD had switched the thing out in the tank several years backs. I am pretty sure that is the problem now. Just can’t figure out how to change it out with or without the instruction sheet.
I need some “stay-on-task” training. Went into the 3rd bedroom looking for my tool box, in search of a small nail to hang a print. Ended up cleaning out three drawers & making a mess on my computer table. BUT, the print is up now. Think I may just close the door & stay out of here the rest of the day.
LOL! I KNOW what that’s like. I need to go searching for something in the back seat of my car. I still haven’t cleared it from the trip down south.
Rain stopped! I took Mom to the Meadows. Gotta grab some lunch and go to TSC and buy a live trap. Something has been eating our car food at the farm. Installed my game camera and got good pics of the culprits, a raccoon and a possum! I’ll probably catch the cats first but they’ll get wise. The raccoon and possums butts are mine!!
you have to feed your CAR??
Iphone autocorrect :) Car/cats. I have to feed my truck, gas mileage is pretty bad.
LOL, Molly!
Airwolf, CardinalSon has a .22 pistol you can borrow. He had to kill a possum for me when we first came back from the coast last week.
Hey, everybody! I’m baaaack. Sorry I’ve been absent so long. Been a busy summer. Not that I went anywhere or did anything fun — I didn’t. But been busy nonetheless.
Kiddo got a car on July 4. She wrecked it on August 6. (Been a busy summer for her too!) It was a cute, but older, used car. We only got liability insurance on it. The damage is not pretty, but does not affect the driveability of it. The hood and front bumper need to be replaced. So, for now, she’s driving a beat up car.
Good news is she got a job! She starts tonight at BaskinRobbins in the Dogwood area. I hope she likes it. We’re all excited about it.
Hope all the MRBAers are well. I’ve lurked some this summer, so I’ve kept up a little bit.
Molly our youngest managed to wreck her car about a month after she got it. I was able to fix everything except the rippled hood. Hooked the hood to a come-a-long and pulled it as straight as I could. It would open and shut without problems. Anyway, she drove that car for four more years until she graduated college. Didn’t hurt her a bit to do that. I still see that car around town on occasions.
Hey Molly so glad you are baaacccckkkk! Sorry to hear about kiddo’s car, but at least she can drive.
I wanted to reply back to AW also about feeding his car but I make enough typos of my own thanks to the iPhone correcting some of my words. It is ok that I blame it and not myself, right?
of course! It’s always the machine’s fault.
Thank you again all for the birthday wishes. been a pretty good day.
everyone have a good evening.
Flying off to a cheer session with all three of our county schools. /see yall tomorrow
Hello everyone. Happy Birthday MsB. hope your day is awesome.
Good evening, looks like we had a nice storm come through had about a 1/2 inch of rain. Hope you all have a terrific night.
I’m happy as a pig in slop. I got home a while ago and got to the door to unlock it and couldn’t find my keys. After searching my purse, I went and looked in the car and there they were, hanging in the ignition. I never heard the dinging sound when I got out and left them in the ignition, and I had just made sure all of my doors were locked when I went in the library. Now we have no idea where a spare key could be.
Happy Bithday, Mrs. B.
It feels wonderful out tonight.
Oh no, LegalE!! I hope you find the spare, good luck.
I’m taking a Scarlette O’Hara stance on the keys tonight. I may be needing the name of a reasonable locksmith tomorrow.
BE cooked a meat loaf and I baked potatoes and had English peas and brown and serve rolls to go with it.
Evenin!
It really does feel great out tonight!
Leagle, so I’m assuming BE either was already there, or got there shortly after you?? Well, at least you are getting a good meal. :)
Talked to lil sis earlier. We are getting fired up for the “Color Run” in Memphis in October. I won’t be “running”, but I will walk the 5K and am thrilled that it my Baby Girl and her babes are all going to be there. It’s going to be a family affair! It should be a lot of fun.
Watched an interesting program on MPB tonight about the New Madrid fault line and the earthquakes of 1811-1812. It’s been 200 years. It could (and will) happen again. At any time. Y’all, I’m telling you, if what happened then happens now, it’s going to be quite the “happenin”. Just sayin…
On a happy note, it’s Friday Eve!
LE, the Pearl Police may be able to unlock it for you. You just have to promise not to hold them responsible if they break anything. The device they use is called a “slim jim” and usually works well.
Went to the ball game tonight. The temperature was wonderfully cool. Looking forward to Saturday. I think it will be a great day for a ride.
It’s 11:45pm, I just came from the farm. There’s one less possum in Ms.
