I saw the article but didn’t read it. Didn’t know it was in Mississippi. That’s a great way to start the school year.

  4. Marshall Ramsey says:

One the one hand, I’m glad it’s Friday. On the other, where did the week go? And how can it be August 10th already?

All good questions, but too tired to figure it out. Wow, it is disappearing before our eyes. Christmas will be here in a couple if weeks.

Replaced a plastic fuel line on the weedeater, put gas in it, and another line broke. Replaced it this morning, put gas in and the third line broke! Think I’m taking it to the repair shop as the next thing to go will be the plastic bubble pump.

Morning everybody. Flying in. Spent the night with my parents last night. Had to go watch my little nephews while they went out visiting another nephew. We had a good time. My brother’s other children came up so I had a house full of nieces and nephews. Aunt Gina enjoyed it. :)

August is a time of reflection. So much happened in this month over the years. My grandmama’s birthday was August 1 … Hurricane Katrina … a year later my granddad died … but in spite of it all … God is here, people that we can still love are here and we take one day at a time and thank HIM that we have yet one more day to make a difference in Heaven. That’s all that counts.

BE just found a spare car key and rescued my keys that I stupidly locked inside yesterday. Although slim jims can be bought across the counter, they are illegal, and the police departments will no longer come to the rescue to get anyone’s keys out of their car, no matter how much you promise not to retaliate against them if they damage something in the process of getting into your car.

So true CLady! I kept thinking that today was important for some reason. After reding your post seven years ago today PD started his six weeks of cancer treatment at MD Anderson in Houston, TX. I have so many dates tagged as milestones if not the regular birthday, anniversary, or death of a family member.

Came home and laid on the couch for about 30 minutes for a quick power nap. My Parrot watched me and he started making a quiet breathing sound. I wonder if he was imitating me? LOL!!

We had some rain not much about a quarter inch.

  16. pncpnthr says:

Just sent the dogs out after the squirrel in my bird feeders and realized it’s raining. They weren’t too happy with me. Ha! I thought it was funny!
