Good morning to you all!!! Why is it so hard to get up when it is dark outside? Thankfully I have a job, I just would like to wait another hour or so before getting up.

  2. Mrs. H says:

Good morning. I was just looking at a picture of the artwork our RA boys created last Wednesday. Canvas + balloons containing paint + darts = Masterpiece! What a great idea. I love that boys can use weapons to do just about anything.

    quack QUACK!

  4. OldBopper says:

Good morning! It’s supposed to be a nice day and even nicer tomorrow.

Will take Ruth the cat to the vet later for her shots. Will cut grass either today or tomorrow.

Want to go to Vicksburg to see the Mississippi River for myself. I grew up with that river and always start my Vicksburg visits with a view of the river. It’s been an important part of my life.

But for now, I need to put the garbage out for pickup.

  5. Airwolf says:

    Morning folks!

Headed to Chattanooga in a while. Our anniversary is tomorrow! Play nice, I’ll check in when I can.

  6. Legal Eagle says:

Good morning, MRBA!!! My Monday bridge table is taking today off since one has a problem with her good eye and is going to the eye doctor and another is out of town.

  7. msblondie says:

morning gang! already been a busy busy morning.

talk later. M actually got up on her own and taken care of several things she needed to this morning. She called me about 820 to let me know. She was proud of herself. Her first class is not till tonight – Astromomy (?) – The Stars/Planets.

  8. Molly says:

Hey. The boss-man has a stomach bug or, more likely, ate something last night that made him sick. He came in this morning anyway. The associate lawyer is a major germophobe and is freaking out. Boss went home, and I have been instructed to Lysol the place down and asked to bring some bleach back after lunch. I think he’s on his own with the bleach. I did spray the office down with Lysol, though.
My day just got quieter. With him out, I may actually get some work done!

    • Legal Eagle says:

I loved it when they got sick and came to work and then we we caught it from them and had to stay home, they got mad because we weren’t there.

  9. Molly says:

Clucky, I just read your post from last night. I understand completely. I begged my surgeon to cut off my left leg and hip to make the pain go away. He must have hit something during my surgery, because it started hurting later that night. I have never hurt so bad in my life. The pains wouldn’t stop. Still have them on occasion, but I’m glad I left the leg intact. It does come in handy for getting from place to place. Hope you find something to make it better SOON!

    The morning is flying by.

MrB sounds like M will be just fine.

Molly I would not want to have to smell like cklorox the rest of the day.

  11. parrotmom says:

U know everyone is in suspense to know lunch today was mixed nuts and mini Twix’s.

  12. dhcoop says:

Pot roast from McDades was yummy!

I have made a dangerous discovery: there is a bakery in Lucedale. Hostetler’s Whole Grains and Grounds. (He does coffee, too, but doesn’t have a steamer yet.) He was a construction foreman, but when they wanted him to move to Baton Rouge, he said that his family was here and his church was here, so he was staying here. Opened a bakery. All his grains are ground on the premises. I bought a loaf of sun-dried tomato bread. He’s originally from Ohio, so most of his recipes are Amish. Mmmmmm……..

    • Legal Eagle says:

That sun dried tomato bread sounds good. I used to get it from Kroger’s until they went up to over $5.00 a loaf.

  14. parrotmom says:

    Sounds yummy MrsH.

Afternoon! Hubby had the day off so we went rambling. He bought me a new pair of running shoes for our anniversary. Wow! Didn’t realize how worn out my other pair was. But, came home & got the news he’s going away for work again. Bummer. He’s requested vegetables for dinner….cant’ get good veggies on the road.

  16. parrotmom says:

    Bye, bye till later!

  17. parrotmom says:

Home again, home again, jiggity, jig!

Flying through. Pulling a late night like any respectable editor/reporter would do. I did leave here about 6:30 though and fed my car some gasoline so I wouldn’t have to push it, ran by Dollar Tree to see if they have any of those pencil sharpeners that come eight to a pack for Operation Christmas Child.

Went home and cooked some potatoes and corn bread and greens to go with the pintos that I cooked over the weekend, knowing today would be late. Watched and hour of tv while I ate and headed back here. Been catching up a little bit, now I’ve GOTTA get some pictures fixed and a page done.

    See yall tomorrow.

  19. Clucky says:

The hip/leg have settled down. Ahhhh. Spent the day replenishing my spoons. (Click on my name and look up “The Spoon Theory.”)

My buddy Tom (band director) is back in Baptist. He and I text each other late at night since we’re the only ones awake. This new chemo is bad news.

No big news to report. That’s good, right? Country Day is this weekend. I hope it doesn’t rain! I haven’t been in a couple of years.

  20. cardinallady says:

Good night … or rather morning. It’s 12:20 a.m. Just got my pages done and decided how I want page 1 to look tomorrow. You can get silly writing headlines after midnight, especially when you are writing about 40 cases of beer in the sheriff’s possession. heh.

Now, since my beautiful ball gown has turned to rags Cinderella must get home before her black truck turns into a giant licorice jelly bean. :) :D

See y’all in a few hours. I must go get my beauty nap. Maybe it will help.
Hope you get some sleep tonight Clucky!

  21. Legal Eagle says:

When I lived in San Antonio, the smell of pinto beans came from all over and it’s just about that way here in Little Tiajuana. I like them with buttered flour tortillas and onion. BE got some neck bones to cook in pinto beans when we went to Food Depot yesterday. He would rather have the beef neck bones, but since mad cow has been on the rampage, they are almost impossible to find. He had to settle for pork neck bones. When he gets them cooked, I will make some cornbread muffins. We got some pretty sirloins and some other good meat buys.
