Morning! Rough night up here, no damage around my place that I have found. It was much to hot yesterday for this time of the year. We had the worst lightening I have ever witnessed. We got a little over 3 inches of rain from 6-12 pm.

    Hope your day is perfect!

    Happy Labor Day, MRBA!!!

We barbecued and threw down yesterday, so my regular Monday noon bridge game will go forward today as usual. I will have to tell you about the book one of the girls loaned me, which was written by a 2004 Nobel Peace Prize winner from Africa who went to school with my friend in Kansas. It’s amazing what accomplishments she had.

Howdy! I was tickled to read Molly’s post about Alabama’s mascot. Saturday night, Tim and I went out to eat and the game was on. I can’t even remember who they were playing, but it was a slaughter. We actually talked about their mascot and thexCrimson Tide and wondered how in the world an elephant became their mascot. Now I know :)

I pulled a good one yesterday; I forgot to take my BP med with my other meds. I had to go to Lowe’s (AGAIN), and make a trip to Walmart. I decided to check my BP as I was in the pharmacy. Ummm, not good. By the time I got home, my head was about to explode. Took meds, crashed and woke up just before 1am pain-free. Ahhh.

My big news? Remember Einstein here STEPPED on my laptop a couple of weeks after my surgery in January? I checked around, and a new screen would cost more than a new computer. So…after doing a lot of homework, I finally got a new laptop! I haven’t really played with it yet. After I get my chores done (ha), I’ll be spending some quality time with it :)

Love y’all! Have a great day!

MrsH, M is really struggling with pre-Algebra this year. She does great on her homework but freaks out at test time and bombs. It’s not pretty at ALL.

hello again, Made a run to Kroger and bought my 6 pack of 16 oz bottle diet Dr Peppers (basically my life line) and all that is in the fridge except some mayo, mustard, and ketchup. A few Bud lights my step daughter left a couple of weeks ago. Some say I should cook, WHY??

MrsH sounds like the girls had a terrific time. AW I was not aware that our state still had some remants around from Isaac. Clucky have fun after your chores with your new laptop. I will soon to get started on those reels I have been putting off. Hope you all enjoy your day off and Marshall I am glad out of all your jobs you managed to salvage this day for fun and family and no work.

Afternoon!!!! Has been a very quiet day around here. My parrot had a good time with his shower earlier and has been contented since. I wished I wasnt’ such a procrastinator, but finally finishing up on some video stuff. I need to be ready for my first wedding this coming weekend, the 8th, which would be PD’s 56th birthday. When I got the call back in May I figured it would keep me busy and not sad. The one thing I enjoyed about videoing a wedding was the reliving the day I was married and hoping the best for every couple that allowed me to share their day. I am nervous because it has been a year and half, but even when I had them more often I stayed nervous.
I only work three days this week, I have Friday off and then next Monday the 10th off. I hope you all had fun today.

Remember my friend whose baby was prenatal diagnosed with Holoprosencephaly – alobar? Well, BABY JANE IS HERE AND BREATHING (IN FACT CRYING QUITE LOUDLY) ON HER OWN AND LOOKING AROUND!!!!!! They have an MRI scheduled for tomorrow, but I’ve seen pictures of her dad holding her swaddled in a blanket. (translation: NOT attached to all sorts of electronic monitoring/life support equipment!) No matter what tomorrow holds, she is a miracle TODAY!

Evening! Cut the grass today. Then went for a 100 mile ride. I’ve become a motorcycle addict!

Flavor of the evening: Blue Bell Strawberry. :~)

I had turned the tv off and was reading my Bible. Toward the end I started hearing a very strange sound. After finishing I started to investigate. Thankfully, it was just Tinker Bell playing with a locust. When she would put her paw on it it would buzz. So cute. Glad she was outside and the door was shut.
    Nite all!
