Saturday Free-For-All

Got my third book done.  My sense of relief is huge right now — but also my sense of pride. (It turned out well). I bit off more than I could chew and then chewed it. I’m proud of the work — and considering I accomplished everything while working two jobs, I am ever more proud of it.  I had some tough circumstances to overcome and I did that, too.  I made a few mistakes along the way, but I can proudly say I learned from them.  I’ve grown as an artist, a vendor and a business person. I was able to continue my fitness regime and except for a $1,100 bill for getting an upper G.I., I came out of it without a scratch.

The only way to grow and succeed is to stretch yourself. I stretched myself to the breaking point. I now have three cool books to show for it and the knowledge that I can do about anything I put my mind to.

Hey Boss. How’s that puppy doing?

    • Marshall Ramsey says:

She’s out in the backyard, having a fine time. Of course, she got me up at 5:30 this morning. I wasn’t too fond of her then.

    Mornin!

I’m so proud of you, Marshall! Looking forward to getting the books. :)

Just fixed myself a cup of coffee (thanks Blues) and a cup of oatmeal.

It’s a bit chilly this morning. Should be a perfect day for the Flower Show. Going to meet my Baby Girl there mid-morning. Hoping to see Tank and her girls too. Any other MRBAers welcome to join us!

It’s hard to believe it is over. I’ve been busting it for so long — I haven’t had five minutest to do anything else in months. I’ve spent the day being lazy. Then I get back to work getting ready to sell my book.

Good morning to you. Congratulations Marshall on your achievements. It does make one want to smile. Coop, Tank, and any others have fun.

Morning! Headed to my 46th high school class reunion. We get together every year in October!

  7. Airwolf says:

    48 degrees, I’m cold!!

  8. parrotmom says:

From MrsH this morning—-No internet and I don’t have a smart phone = no MRBA. Girls are off to Perk for competition. Mr. H’s class reunion is tonight.

67 here where a coat–no heat. Remember the unclaimed freight commercials. Aw I think I would need a fire at that temp.

  10. parrotmom says:

    I’m sorry 56 degrees here.

Howdy. We spanked little Pisgah last night. Our band took up all the visitor stands! I lucked out with a parking spot that I could actually sit in the car and watch the game. Between the late night, the game and the weather change, I’m not feeling too good today. About to dope up so I can get moving. I’m loving the change in the weather :)

Yes, everything happens for a reason…hope we know what it is before too long! Patience is a virtue.

    What fun!

Didn’t find Tank at the flower show, and thought I had her number in my phone but didn’t. Don’t know if she was there or not. Me and Baby Girl wandered around and admired flowers and veggies. I made some pics that I’m about to post on fb. They probably look a lot like the ones I’ve made in the past, but that’s okay! Weather was perfect. Started out overcast and a bit nippy, but then warmed enough to remove jackets. About to go look at pics!

  14. parrotmom says:

Glad you enjoyed the flowers Coop. I’m in Brookhaven.

  15. pncpnthr says:

A & I had a nice trip to Starkville. It was so cold we bought Little A a new outfit and each of us a jacket! And I got all my hair cut off! Go figure!

  16. parrotmom says:

Met up with Tank, had something to eat, now waiting for 6:30. She didn’t make it to CS after all.

  17. Legal Eagle says:

We went over to a friend’s house and enjoyed a bonfire and then went down to Wynndale Steak House for a ribeye. Their salad bar is always good and it’s so simple, but I figured out that it’s because they chop the tomatoes and onions, so you can just put your dressing on it and eat without having to cut everything up first.

  18. Msblondie says:

Wedding done. It was was really nice. I am exhausted.

  19. Clucky says:

    Congratulations, MsBlondie!

Ribeye…yum. I’ve had to cut out pretty much all meat over the past couple of weeks due to some GI problems. I’m having an upper scope Thursday morning. I hope it’s just my gallbladder-that’s a pretty easy fix compared to some other things. Tonight’s dinner was cheese cracker and peanut butter nabs. Yum.
