Morning! Off to church, today is homecoming!

  2. pncpnthr says:

Morning. Went into town to walk this morning. If it’s this cool next weekend we’re gonna freeze our tu-tu’s off! Still excited to get to spend 3 days with the family!

Everyone enjoy their Sunday. Got to get ready for church.

  3. parrotmom says:

Morning everyone had a wonderful time at Old Brook Fest last night. I finally warmed up after getting under the covers. Well got warm in the car then the temp in. The house was 72. I survive on 83 inside during the summer.

  4. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

Heading over to my Baby Girl’s house. Hope everyone is having a good day!

  5. parrotmom says:

Loaded the woodblock, opened the flew now to see which way the smoke goes. Has been a couple years since chimney was cleaned. Hopefully can wait one more year.

  6. parrotmom says:

The smoke is headed in the right direction. That is the first time I have opened the flew that I didn’t struggle with it. I guess after 20 years here I remembered to push or pull the handle correctly. I’m a bit slow to catch on.

  7. parrotmom says:

Slow day in MRBA land. Hope you all are doing well.

    Evenin!

PM, glad you got the fire going! It’s definitely fireplace weather.

I had a good day with my Baby Girl. If you can call helping work out details of a property settlement a good day… BUT, it’s all going to be okay and she’s going to be fine. I’m going to make sure of that!

We are all looking forward to the Color Run next weekend in Memphis. Me, my Baby Girl, Peanut, Bug, lil sis, Cub, A, cousin E and I’m not sure who all else, are going to have a great time! A bright spot in the lives of a few that really need some bright spots right now.

The next couple of days are going to be crazy busy with work stuff, but I’ll check in when I can.

Blues, you make sure you get some coffee made for these folks tomorrow! Looks like they need it!

    Love and hugs to all!

    a quick good monday morning!

ask for a prayer around 130. I have an interview. please and thank you!

  10. parrotmom says:

Good Monday morning at9:25 am. I have the day off and enjoyed being under the covers. Now to burn the dust off the heater and get the temp up above 70 in the house.

    Prayers for your interview MsB.

  11. Legal Eagle says:

Monday, Monday…. Brrrrr! I’m waiting for the coffee and looking down my list of players for Thursday to see how many said they were coming, how many need calling, etc. I have my regular bridge foursome at noon and I’ve been asked to substitute for someone in the Monday night group, so I need to leave the first game by 5:00 in time to get home and catch a 5:30 ride to the other game.

  12. cardinallady says:

Morning, almost afternoon. I’m still trying to WAKE UP. I woke up at 8 a.m. after going to bed at 10 p.m. I took two aspirin and an ibuprofin so I would sleep through the aches and pains of helping mom with the family reunion. It was a GREAT day though. Spent it outside and we had 47 people come! Every family was represented by at least one person. I tought that was GREAT!

  13. Molly says:

Mornin. A long-time family friend in Tennessee died this weekend from West Nile. He was 80 years old and just couldn’t fight off the infections that followed. He and his wife were at my parents’ wedding, and his kids and I have been life-long friends, and now Kiddo and this man’s granddaughter are good friends. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. He was a college chemistry professor and was the stereotypical absent-minded professor. There are a million stories about him, all true, and most hilarious. Pop went to TN for the funeral today. I couldn’t go because of work, but hope I can visit with the family sometime soon.

  14. Clucky says:

Molly, sorry to hear about your family friend. West Nile is so dangerous, especially in the older population.
MsBlondie, sending prayers for your interview!
PM, glad you’re getting out and seeing friends. A fire in the fireplace sounds delicious!
Coop, y’all have fun next weekend!
Leagle, I bet the bridge games are fun. I haven’t heard you mention any shenanigans in a while.

  15. Clucky says:

CLady, that is a fantastic turnout for a family reunion! I bet you are sore and tired! You probably did 13.1 miles too.. Ha
AW, saw the pic from your class reunion. Good looking group!

  16. Mrs. H says:

Had to stay home and wait for AT&T this morning. Then headed to work about 11. Now Em says I need to come get El after school because percussion has to stay on Mondays but not clarinets. Looks like this entire day is an interruption.

  17. msblondie says:

interview done.. over an hour on the phone. it went really well, possible face to face later this week or first of next week. The gentleman actually told me I was the best fit for what he is looking for in this position – that made me feel good after so many rejects of overqualified. So please keep the prayers coming.

    Thank you!

  18. cardinallady says:

Tailfeathers dragging out of here. Looking forward to some chicken soup and quiet at home … in spite of the mewing cats and barking dogs and quacking ducks and clucking chickens. :) See y’all in the morning. Maybe I will have my energy back.

  19. parrotmom says:

    Evening everyone! Stay warm.

  20. parrotmom says:

Tuesday 6:08 and 45 degrees. brrrr!

  21. cardinallady says:

Morning!! Absolutely gorgeous morning around these parts. It’s FRIDAY for me! So don’t start digging my grave if you don’t hear from me until Monday. I’m going to spend time at home cleaning out the chicken house and the CardinalLady’s room. Perhaps I’ll find my kitchen counter tops too.

I have to go to Tupelo for a health screening Thursday, and that is the first time I’m going to crank the car when I turn it off this afternoon. Friday, I’m headed north to Booneville and when CardinalSon gets out of class we are going to a cabin at Tishomingo where there is NO PHONE SERVICE. :) All I intend to listen to is the crackling of the fire in the hearth, the music of Jon’s laughter and the leaves quietly rustling and falling to the ground. We intend on getting an hour or so of fishing in too if the weather cooperates.

There, you have my itenerary. NOW I’ve GOT to get a couple of pages put to bed.

  22. msblondie says:

    morning gang!

  23. parrotmom says:

CLady sounds like fun. I did the fire Sunday and yesterday I was worthless, no fire just ran the heat a little. Needed to burn off he dust as PD called it. Was tough getting up this morning.

Not trying to set myself up but I think the next months are going to hit me harder than the last six months. At least I know I have a strong faith in God and tons of people praying for me.

  24. Legal Eagle says:

Morning, gang! Does anyone know why we are still on Sunday’s FFA? With fewer comments these days, we could go with a weekly FFA and wouldn’t be as much trouble to the boss.

Cluckster, the senior center is like Vegas in that what happens there, stays there. Heh!!!

I really enjoy the group I played bridge with last night. I put in $1.00 to play and won second high score and got $3.00 back, so I’m ahead. Airwolf, S was there and seems to be doing fine. We were talking last night and found out that she goes to church with my first cousin and his wife. It really is a small world.

I just got my first cup of coffee and have nothing to do today. Now, if BE can figure out why the heater keeps kicking off and can get us a little heat, it will be nice. That or wait until Mother Nature turns the outside temp up to 75.
