Good morning. And it is a very nice morning out there.

Good morning and yes MrsH it is. I think I need varmint control. The kittie girls were inside all night, but I was awaken about 4:15 am with ramblings probably in the attic and not on the roof. I didn’t hear any gnaying as a rat would do sounded more like people running dragging bodies. I am afraid I may have “Mayhem” (Allstate commercial) raccoons. When I let the kittie girls out I noticed another place of the metal from the eve of the house is pulled down. Due to PD’s illness nothing much for outside up keep has been done. Then I realized when I went to the other bathroom I forgot to turn the water flow off to the toilet so it ran all night long. I hope that my oldest brother will find sometime to come by since he is going to have a couple of weekends off in a row, but I know him way to well.

Good morning! BE was in bed before 9:00 last night and I went to bed early for me, which was about 11:00, and we just woke up. I thought his eye appointment was today, so I took the day off to go with him. I thought it was funny that the doctor’s office never called to remind him of his appointment because they always call me. He called the office this morning to see what time he needed to be there and his appointment isn’t until the 30th.

Now that I’m off, I really need to go down to senior day at the fair and get my flu shot and see Chubby Checker. Let’s twist again like we did last summer……twist again like we did last year……..round and round and up and down…..

  8. Molly says:

Guess LE was disappointed if she went to see Chubby Checker. Seems he canceled his noon show. He’s performing tonight, though.

  9. parrotmom says:

It’s afternoon!!! I had veggies for lunch and now ready for a nap.

  10. Legal Eagle says:

OMG! As Dorothy said on her way back from Oz, “There’s no place like home. There’s no place like home…” We got to the fair in time to get in free and I ended up getting 3 shots, the super flu shot, the pneumonia shot and a 3-in-one for tetnus, dyptheria and whooping cough since I live in one of the counties affected by Hurricane Isaac. All were free with my Medicare card. Chubby had a family emergency and had to leave, but we didn’t go for the show anyway since I’ve seen quite enough of Guy Hovis and Roy Seemes (sp?) in the past. We got a Philly cheese steak and a local lemonade with a free refill and walked all the way to the north end to get a biscuit. I bought a box of Malone’s taffy for a friend who can’t do the walking down there and it was $9.00. The Silver Dollar cinnamon rolls (the only ones at the fair worth buying) haven’t gone up in the last few years – still $6.00 with no icing and $7.00 with icing. BE wanted to look at the motors in the Trade Mart (where we parked), so I sat on a grassy area and leaned back against the Coliseum and waited while he went and looked and brought the car to pick me up. Home, at last. Thank God, I’m home at last.

  11. parrotmom says:

Almost time to go home. Hope you all have a nice evening.

  12. parrotmom says:

LegalE hope you get rested up.

  13. Mrs. H says:

I’m home and, even though it’s Wednesday, I think I’m staying here. I have a headache and Em can drive. Doing my job and parts of 2 or 3 others is starting to tell on me.

  14. Legal Eagle says:

I had 2 shots in the left arm and 1 in the right and my arms are so sore, I can hardly lift them. I’m typing with one finger….I hope I can manage to open the rest of my jumbo boiled peanuts. They are the biggest I have ever seen, but soft. I can boil them for 3 days and they don’t get soft enough.

    Evenin!

E.X.H.A.U.S.T.E.D. yep, I can still spell it. And, exhausted I am. It’s been a whirlwind the past couple of days, but really, REALLY great! Meetings went really well and a good time was had by all. But I am tired!

I’ve got to get rested because we have the Color Run this weekend! Although, since Peanut has an injured Achilles tendon, I’m probably going to sit out the race with her at the finish line, it’s still going to be a busy weekend. Hope to get lots of pictures!

Hope all is well with everyone. Have some checking up to do, but it may not be tonight.

    TTFN!

  16. parrotmom says:

Evening, Coop glad it is going well for you. I heard some rumblings on the roof earlier. I hope that time it was the kittiegirls.

  17. pncpnthr says:

Evening. Seriously considering going to bed. Yep, think I will. Nite, all!

  18. parrotmom says:

Question for you cat lovers. Can a cat loose their voice? Itty Bitty used to would meow, now she will open her mouth like she is trying to and nothing comes out. At the end it is a smacking sound. Sort of like some people do after a kiss. Even this morning they were both at the bedroom door ready for me to get up and I could hear her smack but no meow. She still purrs and is really loud, I have heard her still make the cricket sound but still no meow?
