    Greetings, friends. I was ready to be the carpool mom today (Em was not feeling well last night) but she says she has too much to do today to stay home. (Reminds me of you, MR!) She’s taking a college credit math class this semester and can only miss once or it’s a Did Not Finish grade. We’re going to Preview Day at MSU next Monday, so she took some sinus meds and is heading out.

    I heard a news story on the way in this morning that set my heart pounding. I had to come and look up a picture of the kidnapper on the news website. He has the same name as our former middle school band director. NOT the same man (which I knew in my heart)!

    Mornin. Whew! Been a busy morning – and it is just now 8:00. But got a lot done at the house, been to the bank and the store , and was still the first one to arrive at the office.

    Incidentally, Merry Christmas. Christmas Day is 10 weeks from TODAY!

    Thanks AW for that weather update. Looks like some kittie girls will be wanting to stay inside a couple of nights soon. Last night TinkerBell was at the door knocking wanting in before I went to bed. So she stayed in last night. Amazingly enough she knew it was my bedtime and last chance to gain entrance.

    I need someone to come and take this candy corn from me. I have almost finished off the back that was just opened. I don’t think I can say I had corn for breakfast and lunch.

      I like it too. I have a friend who just has a knack for doing things. She has her house decorated for fall with all kinds of cute things. And she put candy corn in a hurricane lamp with a candle in the middle.

    I love candy corn. I have a bag in the cabinet.. i get a few pieces at a time to make it last as long as possible. I will get another to have after the “halloween” time.

    I had one interview today with a “head hunter”. It went well. Tomorrow I have a in person interview at 930 with one I have already interviewed with back in the summer. I found it still open and reapplied.. figured if it was still open they couldn’t make a decision.. the squeaky wheel gets the attentation.

    M comes home tomorrow for fall break. She and I will put out our graveyard and stuff for halloween. I have waited to do it till she comes home.

    I have an appt at 11 tomorrow with Dr. Hottie. I’ve asked Mr. Fab to come with me. I do not feel up to moving today, and the thought of driving to Jackson and back overwhelms me. I would be just fine skipping that appointment-except my left arm and hand get pins and needles when I turn my head a certain way. Not cool. At. All.

    I took a picture of M yesterday I wish I could share! We went pageant gown shopping; 30% off sale, layaway, and 3 more months til the pageant. The dress is AMAZING.

    I like candy corn kind of like the way I like football. Very tiny amounts in very little doses is good enough to last me a LONG time. :)

    MsB prayers for your interviews. I pray something comes your way soon and also for DWB and her hubby too.

    Prayers for Orville and CornPop I hope all goes well tomorrow and no more postponements.

    I want to do a little group prayer before I go to bed for CornPop and Orville. They are about to go through what no one of us ever wants to experience. Y’all…really… say a serious prayer for CP and Orville over the next few days. Card, if you will, bless us with one of your prayers.

    They now have the drugs and will be starting Orville’s treatment. He’ll be starting the process tomorrow. From what CP said, his new “birthday” will be October 25. Between now and then, we need to be praying that all of the crap that he will be going through will make it possible for him to have the new life that he and CornPop deserve.

    Here’s my plea…
    Hey, God?? CornPop and Orville need you right now (ok, so I know YOU know what their real names are, but we’ll keep it amongst ourselves if you don’t mind…) Just hang with them, okay??? They REALLY need you…Seriously…Thanks!!
