Good morning!!!
A prayer for CornPop and Orville: Father, You are so much bigger than anything we can imagine. You know exactly what these children of Yours need. We don’t need to remind You. But You have invited us to bring our burdens to You. We want to see our brother restored to health and our sister relieved of this worry. We trust them to Your care. Amen.
Amen. And good morning.
Amen. Thank you MrsH
Amen! MrsH
Amen!
Amen.
Mornin!
I’m getting a new chair today! I know that doesn’t sound like much to get excited about, but the one I’ve got is really causing me some back trouble. I went and tried some out yesterday and think the one I picked out is going to do nicely. :)
I know exactly what you mean. When I was put in a floater situation, I sat in many horrors.
Coop congrats on your new chair, they can make a difference.
Prayers for MsB and her interview in about 15 minutes.
Hope Clucky makes it to and from Jackson safely. Prayers for the pain that she is in that she will have some relief.
MrsH hang in there with your double duty these days, I hope the church finds someone to fill the empty desk soon.
Morning! Flying through!
Coop, I do know why you would get excited over a new chair. When you sit all day a chair that keeps you at a comfortable height at your desk is IMPORTANT!
Finally candy corn is all gone. I hope I don’t have a weak moment and buy another bag. I cannot eat just a few pieces as some of you said you can do.
Thank you for the prayers, Coop & MrsH! And, for all the Amens! I read them to Orville while we were eating breakfast at WaffleHouse (last time for him to eat out for about 100 days & wanted to have not-good-for-you food) and we both teared up with the kind words. Getting settled in and ready to finally get this show on the road! I’ll keep you posted.
Good luck today, MsB & Clucky! <3 Love to all!
I had goose bumps while reding your post.
BE WEATHER CONSCIOUS TONIGHT AIRWOLF!!
… Severe weather expected across the mid south from late this
afternoon through tonight…
A strong upper level disturbance and associated cold front will
approach the mid south this afternoon and move across the area
overnight. Increasing amounts of instability will combine with
powerful atmospheric winds to create a favorable environment for
severe thunderstorms.
Thunderstorms should initially develop to the west across central
Arkansas by mid afternoon and move rapidly northeastward into
portions of eastern and northeastern Arkansas as well as the
Missouri bootheel by late afternoon. Initially storms should
develop in the form of supercells and short bowing line segments.
All severe weather threats will be possible to include damaging
winds… large hail… and a few tornadoes. Thunderstorms should
evolve into an intense squall line by evening as it crosses the
Mississippi River into west Tennessee and northwest Mississippi.
Supercell thunderstorms embedded within the squall line may still
be possible. Damaging winds… potentially widespread… will eventually
become the primary threat by evening although a few tornadoes will
still be possible. The line of thunderstorms should pass through
the remainder of west Tennessee and northeast Mississippi late
tonight into the early morning hours of Thursday.
This is a potentially life threatening situation as much of the
severe weather may occur after sunset. Residents across the mid
south are urged to review severe weather plans now and be prepared
to take action to protect life and property if severe weather
threatens your location later this afternoon through tonight.
Please continue to monitor the latest forecast regarding this
expected severe weather situation.
Yikes!!
morning.. yeah it is still is.
Interview went well – this was a 2nd interview so that is a good thing.
prayers for you cp and orville.
now waiting on M to call that she is on the way home.
all have a good afternoon.
Yummmm! Pizza for lunch.
Amazing. I was almost an hour late. No big deal-some in here have been waiting for hours. I just wish I could lay on the floor and sleep
Til it’s my turn.
Wow!! I’m in an exam room!
Hope all went well.
I received a cool picture of a friend.
I showed T. He LOL’d. Of course, M begged me to send it to her. Um, no!
Evening folks! Waiting for the storm to come through. I put out 300 pounds of ammonia and potash on my lawn, Now it needs water!
Looks like your wish is going to come true.
We are under a tornado watch til 3am. Welcome, Autumn! November and April are the most active months for tornadoes in MS.
I made it home uneventfully. I indulged in a Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard at DQ. It was worth every bite.
The most pain has been in my left shoulder. Many years ago (yep-pre-MRBA), I tripped on my own size 10’s, and grabbed a stool to catch myself. I failed (felled-ha) miserably; I face planted onto the floor, breaking my nose. The stool I had grabbed caught the front of my shoulder and pushed it back. For months I babied it, and it seemed to heal up ok. Apparently I have angered it, and now it is weaker than it was before my neck surgery. Today I was sent for x-rays, and have another test before my next appointment.
When it rains, it pours….
I’m lookin forward to a good night’s sleep.
CP and Orville are weighing heavy on my heart. We love you!
Sweet dreams! I’m not sleeping in my ruby slippers either. :P
