Good morning! What’s up? Certainly not the visibility. It’s super foggy across Central Mississippi this morning.

Morning Marshall, I appreciate that weather forecast. Hope everyone has an uneventful commute this morning. Coop I hope you get some relief from your back soon. Clucky I hope you are rested up after the tile work. Prayers for CP and Orville and everyone else that needs them. We all have stuff whether big or small.

  2. Mrs. H says:

It was absolutely clear down here this morning. I saw 2 meteorites on my walk this morning!

  3. Molly says:

Mornin. Foggy at the Rez today. No fog at all yesterday, but it found us this morning. Hope everybody is having a good day.

I had an exciting walk into the building this morning. A doe came running along the side of the building and ran right in front of me could not have been 10-15 feet in front of me. After she saw me she definitely picked up speed and ran through the parking lot.

  5. parrotmom says:

    You kk

    • parrotmom says:

      I’ll try that again.
God speaks to us in several different ways. One by the beauty of his creation, the other by another person, and by the still small voice from inside our internal being. I think that deer was a sign to me today just like a rainbow is a sign of hope to me.

  6. msblondie says:

morning gang!. I gotta get moving for my noon interview today.

  7. cardinallady says:

Morning! Flying through. Nothing to get a reporters morning like an unannounced tornado drill at the local school. Looks like everyone did great though They even landed the helicopter! that was my favorite part.

Alright, I’ve gotta write some stories now, yall be good. I’ll flit back in later.

I wonder if Blues will brew me a cup of tea? With a cinnamon stick please

    Good morning.

Good luck with job interview msblondie. Get that money!

Will probably be finished here by friday. It’ll be good to go home for a few days.

Nature at your doorstep PM. I wonder what spooked that poor deer from the woods into the your parking lot.

  9. parrotmom says:

Prayers for your interview MsB, hope all goes well.

Blues not sure why maybe she became disoriented in the fog and could have bern following the bank of the lake. She was not even near the wooded area. Maybe she wanted to take out some life insurance?

  10. Molly says:

PM, if she keeps wandering out of the woods, she’ll NEED that life insurance!

  11. Legal Eagle says:

The deer needs life insurance and I need some prayers big time. I’m going to have to do something that I really don’t want to do, but it’s for someone else’s well being and it will just have to be done and followed through. Please keep me in your prayers.

  12. parrotmom says:

Crechales cafe on hwy 80 will be moving to Flowood. I remember eating there one time 30 years ago.

  13. parrotmom says:

    Prayers for you LegalE.

Channel 16 news has a story of employees coming into their office thus morning to be surprised that a deer, young buck, was inside. This could have been the one I saw. It was headed in that direction of that building. I thought it was a doe I saw, but it could have been a spike? The pictures they show on the site all I see are ears.

I just made a graduation mortarboard hat out of construction paper! Sunday, we’re studying Timothy graduating from being merely Paul’s assistant in the ministry to leading a church of his own. Now I’ve got to design a hot-seat!! I’m sure all the pastors out there understand :)

  15. CornPop says:

Orville had a good night and hasn’t gotten “sick” since day before yesterday, thank goodness! His blood counts are doing what they’re supposed to do – head down until the white & red blood cells & platelets are basically at zero. He’s starting to tire easily. He managed to eat a small amount of beef stew a little while ago – woohoo!!! It’s a huge feat since he hasn’t been able to eat much of anything in several days mainly due to the smell of foods. Hoping that the sensitivity to odors is easing up, but at least he’s getting some appetite back & that’s so wonderful.

His bone marrow transplant is scheduled to begin around 8am tomorrow & should take an hour to 1 1/2 hours. The doctor & nurse said that we can have family witness it, so my daughter & my parents will be here with me to watch him start his new life process (gowned & masked, of course)! They’ll have him hooked up to heart monitor & will check his vital signs every 15 minutes throughout the day, but they don’t expect any problems, especially since he’s receiving his own bone marrow stem cells. Should be smooth as silk & his body should welcome them back “home”.

I realize that everyone has been praying for him & they are all greatly appreciated, but sure could use those prayers to be really cranked up tomorrow morning!

Prayers going out for LE, MsB and everyone else!

    • Molly says:

I was surprised when my friend had her transplant at how easy it is. As I understand it, it looks like an IV bag just pumping the marrow in through a needle. When she wasn’t napping, she talked to the people who were there with her. She was in a sterile room and they were in an adjoining room with a window looking into hers, but all could hear each other talk.

I’m glad he’s getting his own “stuff” back. She had a lot of problems with Graft vs Host problems for a while that he shouldn’t have. His recovery should be much easier than hers.

Goog to hear. Will keep praying.

  16. msblondie says:

    I am exhausted.

  17. cardinallady says:

Halleljuah! God is good. It’s GREAT to be part of a big loving family. I’ll share more later and it may be tomorrow. Gotta go to Algoma again.

  18. DWB810 says:

Hello Everyone!!! Prayers for all in need. Well, for that matter we all need prayers. It is how we make it through the day. Hubby has several phone interviews coming up and waiting to hear if he goes to the next level on 2 other positions, so hopefully something will happen soon.

  19. Mrs. H says:

Mrs. Jones is sitting in my lap on top of my arms while I try to type this. She’s cutting off my circulation!!
