Wednesday Free-For-All

Good morning! Last night’s signing was a home run!  It is very humbling to be signing a book, look up and see that the line is almost out the door.  Thank you. And it was good to see long-time MRBA family members in line, too. We’ve had an interesting couple of years but we’re still standing.  I think it is because we have support from each other.

On another note, I want to wish Hot Laser Guy a happy 10th birthday. Time flies. Here he is when he was just a few months old.

    Morning!

Happy Birthday to Hot Laser Guy!

Marshall it’s great to see your book doing so well. Your iron will and sacrifices have made it possible. Hope to see you up north for a signing.

My husband and I are big fans! Unfortunately, we weren’t able to make the signing. Really glad it went so well! I was lucky enough to get a signed copy at Mistletoe! I am wondering if it will be available as an ebook anytime soon… Don’t get me wrong, I love a good hardback book, but technology is just that and I use my Kindle for everything.
Happy Birthday to Hot Laser Guy!
And congratulations on the success of this wonderful book!

Morning. Happy Birthday to the blog’s favorite Hot Laser Guy!!!! Marshall, thanks for sharing your kids, your dogs and even Sam the cat with us. You are such a special person. I’m thrilled to have traveled the same path of dirt with you.

Incidentally, how is the newest member of the family doing? I can’t wait to see her in your drawings.

Okay, I’ve gotta get going on next week’s paper. Later taters!

Hello Everyone! Good news for a change. I will be starting back at Washington University on Monday. This will be a temporary position but full time with WashU and not through an agency. I will be in the same department and doing the same program I was when I left. My friend/colleague is having surgery so I will be there for her recovery time. I couldn’t be more excited. Hubby has an in person interview on Friday. Maybe the tides are turning.

Hey Marshall, when are you coming to StL to sign books!!

  9. msblondie says:

evening! It has been a busy busy day.. my feet are sore. I walked a millions I think today at work. I was with the other techs being shown the hospital.

Happy Birthday to Hot Laser guy! Today is also my sister’s birthday- they did a party for her in her classroom.

DWB that is great news! will keep praying.

I think i am going to go crash and work on knitting a scarf. I am doing hats and scarves for gifts for christmas.

  10. parrotmom says:

Congrats DWB. Still praying that all continues to keep looking up for both of you.

Checking in-late, I know. I had a busy day, and even cooked chili tonight for dinner. Between Mr. Fab, Thing 2 and myself, I only put maybe a cupful in the fridge. It hit the spot.

I’ll be in Meridian tomorrow for (surprise!) testing; one of which I have to be NPO after midnight. I’ll then get a break for lunch, then return for the annual smashing of The Girls. (Oh Joy!)

Friday may find me in Flowood showing my pale backside at the neuro clinic. I have waited SIX WEEKS for them to submit a PA# so I can get my main med filled. I certainly should not have had to wait this long, and it’s one of those that can really mess with your head if you stop taking it cold turkey. I’ve been without it over a month now.

Congrats on your book-signing turnout! I really wanted to be there too. Hopefully you will visit Philly or Meridian soon. I’m proud of you, Boss!

Happy Birthday, HLG! I remember when he turned 5. My, time does fly.

    Evenin!

Talked to Big Sis in Russia tonight!!! That was a special treat since she doesn’t call much from over there (as in NEVER). She’s getting really excited about being home for a few weeks. She’s coming home Nov. 30. It’ll be GREAT to have her home for a little while!

Then, I talked to Baby Girl for a while. She’s doing very well, considering…

I woke up at 3 a.m. and haven’t been back to sleep since. Just things going on in my mind. I think I can finally go to bed now. I believe I will actually sleep.

Love and hugs to all of you good people. Like Marshall said, it’s because we all have support from each other. That’s what keeps us strong.

Good night, my friends. The porch light is on, as always.
