First? It is a beautiful day out there. May get some riding in later as it warms up a bit.

AW, with your Dad having shingles, it reminds me to get a shingles shot. I learned a person can have them more than once. I had shingles when I was 13 much to the amazement of Doctors and Parents. Feels like you are being stung by wasps all the time.

Morning to you all again. Hope you have a great Friday and weekend. Today is Thanksgiving lunch at work.

  4. Mrs. H says:

It was foggy down here this morning. Mr. H is working from home so we can paint a wall in the living room (where we added a door) and a wall in a different hallway (where the door came from).
PNC, you are where MarkW is ministering now: Grenada.
I am working on revamping our church newsletter. I e-mailed it home and am working on getting the google calendar to print as part of the newsletter rather than as a separate sheet that must be printed, folded, then stuffed into the newsletter.

Mornin. Just saw the very sad news that Hostess is shutting down. How will we live without Twinkies???

  6. Clucky says:

    Hostess? Boo hiss.
I survived yesterday; results will be in next week.
I’m about to take Thing 2 to pick up his first big-boy paycheck. Yay!

I have a doctor’s appointment at 1:30, but BE said he is just going to let it run its course. I’m tired of explosive sneezes, runny nose and general yucky feeling. And the holiday crap has already started.

Just got home with Hubby. He is fine.
Terrible news about the train hitting the veterans float in Midland, TX. One of the men that lost his life was a friend of Cub’s. Just don’t know what to say at times like these.

One more thing, Cub has had shingles off & on for quite some time. Doc said stress causes his & he used to have break outs around the first of every school year. Now he can tell when it’s coming on & starts his medicine. And, it depends on the level of stress as to how bad the break out is.

Everyone have a good Friday and nice weekend. I’m exhausted!

    strolls in/watsup errybody?/makes a fresh pot of coffee/ leans against counter/waits on coffee/waits some more/looks in ‘fridge/ooh, ham…and cheese…crap, no mayo/decides against a dry sammich/looks at coffee pot/looks like it’s ready/it’s not/pours cup anyway/leaves small mess on counter cause there’s no paper towels/goes back to work

    Evenin!

Had a great day! Now, I’ve got some new thread to work on a very special crochet project and I’m excited! Hey, it’s the little things in life…

  11. parrotmom says:

Evening everyone. I reloaded my woodbox so I can enjoy another fire shortly. Have a load of clothes in the wash. Swept the leaves up on the courtyard. I need to be productive tomorrow on some video stuff and look forward to my short week coming up.

You all have a good night and enjoy. Coop have fun with that thread.

  12. Mrs. H says:

Coop, I’ve started a pair of fingerless gloves 3 times now. Something always seems to get out of kilter. I did one hand without any problems at all. This 2nd hand is NOT cooperating at all. They are for the Eldest’s birthday next week.

    • dhcoop says:

MrsH, I cannot even IMAGINE doing gloves… The best I can do is go in circles…or ovals… never followed a pattern in my life.

  13. Legal Eagle says:

I got 3 prescriptions today and I’m taking every one of them again before I go to bed. Nose is still streaming, explosive sneezes that cause other problems, general yukky feeling in general.

  14. Clucky says:

Leagle, after 3 weeks of the crud, MF finally went to the clinic Thursday. He came home from work Friday looking like he lost his best friend. I’m pretty sure we will head down to the coast this week-it’s way overdue. I know he’s got a bad case of the “Missin Mama Blues.”

So…it’s 345am. I woke up at 330 wide awake. Putting on some sweats, making hot chocolate and going outside to (hopefully) see the Leonids Meteor shower.
