Headed to Natchez and then Pearl today. Taking Hot Laser Guy with me to keep me company. And then SEC Championship and IT’s A Wonderful Life (which I lived yesterday.)

Heading out in a bit to meet up with my riding group. We’re headed to Hattiesburg to eat at Leatha’s (yuck! parboiled ribs are not barbeque), do a little motorcycle goods shopping and back. It’s a good group and should be fun.
Good morning to everyone. Clucky I am so glad Poppy was able to take himself to the hospital while having a heart attack. So glad they got to him quickly and fixed him up. I hope all continues to go well with him and that you and Mr Fab take care too.
OB have a great ride and be safe. MrsH glad your daughter was at the hospital for good reasons.
I have a busy morning and a busy night and better be busy inbetween. I will be seeing Tank and some of her friends this afternoon. Yea!!!!
Poppy’s doing great! Ate a full breakfast and sat up for a long time this morning. Yay!!
Thanks for the prayers! He’ll be having another cath Monday for the “widow maker” that’s about 70% blocked. He had 2 stents last night for a 100% blockage in the right coronary artery. His EKG was already back to normal 3 hours after the cath. We have had a lot of experience at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport, and they have always been outstanding.

I think El has a reputation as the “bringer of babies.” When she was younger, her best friend was spending the night. The friend’s dad called at some point that evening to say they were on the way to the hospital and they would call when the baby arrived. Now this
Afternoon. A long ride to Hattiesburg. We went down I55 to Byrum then meandered through the territory between there and Hwy 49, stopping for a break in Georgetown. We ate at a buffet on the east side of Hwy 59 north of Hardy Street. It was odd that the subject of Leatha’s came up. Everybody said they had eaten there and really were glad we didn’t go there. It was a long ride…257 miles in all.
Back at Poppy’s for the night. He’s in a room now, and happy now that he has his phone and laptop. :) We met with the doctor earlier today, and the artery I thought was 70% blocked is actually 85%, so DEFINITELY relieved that he’ll have that taken care of Monday. I’m planning to stay til next weekend.
