Dentist this morning. Love my dentist, but this isn’t one of my favorite things to do. UPDATE: No cavities!

I’m sure trying to fight the cold that seems to be coming over me. One of my co-workers brought me some Emergen-C this morning and it wasn’t bad. He swears by them. We’ll see.

Coop, hope you can shuck the cold before it gets rooted. This is not a good time of the year to have stuff like that. I need to go get my pneumonia shot. Had the flu shot. Need a shingles shot too.

I don’t have too much to do today, hah!!! Party at noon, game at 1:00, get cat to vet and corral insurance guy to sign up for Medicare supplement before tomorrow and find suitcase and get clothes in it.
Mornin. Today is Kiddo’s birthday. 17 years old. Where does the time go? I ordered one of her birthday presents from Amazon and the tracking info says it got to Jackson last night. I REALLY hope it is in my hands with today’s mail. She only asked for 3 things for birthday/Christmas and this is one of them. Sure would like to have it on time.
One of the 3 requests, I cannot find anywhere. She wants Toms shoes in the houndstooth pattern. I found it in a wedge heel, but she wants flats. Everybody sold out and haven’t gotten more.

Kiddo’s gift has arrived! YAY!!! It wouldn’t be the end of the world if it was late, but I’m really glad it is on time
AW, the rain has finally stopped here. The sun is out, although there are still quite a few clouds. Temp is around 70. Usually Kiddo’s birthday is cold and rainy. The day she was born was warm (upper 60s), but the temp dropped between then and the time we took her home from the hospital. The high that day was 36.
Glad the gift arrived!
I finally went and got my flu shot! Little bugger smarts. Popped a Tylenol just for good measure!

AW, when I gave flu shots, I always offered Tylenol or ibuprofen to prevent the usual fever and achiness right after the shot.

MF decided to leave home at 5am tomorrow morning. Uh huh. Riiiight.
I got so aggravated at Wal-Mart tonight! I found the holiday baking display and there was a box that had held cinnamon chips, but the box was totally empty and there wasn’t another box in the whole store.
We had a great party today with a ton of food and then a good card game. And I managed to corner the insurance guy and get him to meet me at 4:30 and got that taken care of. I found the suitcases and have been filling them. And it 12:45 a.m. and we are still up. Hoodlum is being boarded at the vet and being checked out for a possible kidney infection as the reason for her abandonment of the litter pan. BE said she howled and howled when she got there. Bless her heart.

Got stuff to do today. Em wasn’t feeling very well but went to school anyway. Another ACT attempt tomorrow. She wants a 30…..
Then we’ll be off to a wedding in the Chapel on campus at State. What a weekend!!
