Good morning! Hope you have a great day. I’ll be working — but it’s a good thing. Because I’ll be at home.

My goodness, it was foggy on the way home from Starkville last night. My eldest’s oldest (translate “friend for the longest time”) got married at the Chapel of Memories yesterday afternoon. El was sick, so Mr. H stayed home with her. I picked Em up after the ACT and we headed north. Got there just in time for Em to run into the Union and change clothes. As we were leaving the Chapel, someone hugged me. I looked and it was the wife of our former youth minister (pre-MarkW!) My goodness, what a blessing to see both of them!
Those are best kind of surprises MrsH. Been to early church. One of the hymns was written by Ambrose of Milan who lived from 340 to Easter eve 397. The music to accompany this hymn was written in 1524.
I was curious so I Googled Ambros of Milan and found him to be a very interesting man who is credited with the beginning of congregational singing. Ambrose of Milan | Christian History

Well, I tried the link and it did not come up as I wanted. Just Google Ambrose of Milan and click on that source. There will be several sources for information about him.
I’ll have to do that, OB! BTW, Mr. Fab told me this weekend he saw you a few weeks ago on your bike in Winston county. It was around election time, so I’m assuming this was during your “trip up north.” He said you were leaving as he was pulling in as you were leaving. It’s a small world, indeed :)
He and Chicklette are headed home. I sure did enjoy my time with them. Chicklette took up 99% of my time, but it was all good. I slept between them on Poppy’s queen bed, and that was the best snooze I’ve had all week. I’ll be here this week as well. Now, to relearn how to crochet. I wish I had gotten them to bring my knitting stuff..this wood be a good time to sit down and learn! Poppy let me go through Granny’s sewing stuff to find yarn and a crochet needle.
The weather is delightful today, still nice and warm. I’m dreading the cold front. Boo :(
Marshall, I love the compass!!
Evening everyone a little after 5:00. Had a busy day at chuch, lunch then choir practice. At 2:00 went to Lakewood for a candle lighting service for those if us that had lost a lived one. Made it home about 4:00. A good day but sad. Was a bit surprised when my pastor told me he didn’t realize PD died this year—duh, I guess he just forgot.
