We just finished a late lunch at The Shed, and are on our way home. Poppy was sad to see us leave. I’m going to miss him, too. It’s so peaceful at his house. Just knowing I’m walking back into chaos after the quiet of the last two weeks has given me a migraine I can’t shake. Some things even pulled pork can’t cure.

I’m still shaken by yesterday’s events.

Clucky I hope chaos doesn’t hit you as you walk in the door. Maybe you will catch a small break and you get settled in at home first. Love ya.

It’s shortly after 6 am on Sunday morning. We’ll go to church this morning and then home. I’m still upset and sorrowful about the killing of all those innocent people.

It is my firm belief that assault weapons should not be owned by the general public. In fact, while in the Legislature, I voted against supplying assault weapons to the Highway Patrol for fear they could fall into the wrong hands.

Military style assault weapons are designed for one purpose; to kill human beings.

Good Sunday morning to you all. Church shortly. Prayers for all that have lost ones in Connecticut, but also for those families that have lost ones due to all the violent atacks on people in their homes, work place, school. etc. God please be with us all today.

PQ just served me a fine breakfast with a fruit cup, poached eggs on toast points, and filet mingnon. The steak was left over from last evening’s dinner at Shappley’s.
