Brrrrrrr! Good morning to you all. I could hardly get myself convinced to get out of bed this morning. I left cardinalson snug at home in his bed. I think he likes his extra day off.
Mom is going to put him to work, though, he must build me a fire before he goes back to college.
Where is Blues these days. Does anyone know?

Holiday? What holiday? It is not one I get. In fact, looks like we’re in for one of our busiest days. Since everybody else in the free world has the day off, they have all scheduled to come here. Job security, right?
I spent the weekend fighting off the beginnings of a sinus/ear infection. I think I was successful. Didn’t really get out of bed Saturday. Tried, but just couldn’t do it. Sleeping for 24 hours certainly helped! Thank goodness for a good hubby who was willing to buy groceries and do stuff around the house for me so I could rest. I feel much better now.

PM, glad to know Stormy is doing much better. I’m impressed that the vet could treat him. Guess I never thought about taking a bird to the vet. But, I’ve never had one either.
Thought about a movie today, but can’t find one I want to see after ruling out all the depressing ones or shoot-em-ups. Guess I’ll keep looking.
Thanks OB. Parrots like mine and others are not cheap and yes they sometimes need a doc also, but not all vets treat parrots. In fact when we bought Stormie, Dr. Whittington at State Street animal hospital was the only avian vet for MS. I haven’t checked to see if this is still true or not. Dr. Whit also treats birds for the wildlife people such as Red tail hawks and even Eagles.
Hi again almost noon and will be off at noon for the rest of the day for a dental appointment thanks to a tooth I broke last week. I’ve never done this before rather anxious on what may have to be done.

My scheduled adventure for tomorrow has been postponed. I’m a little sad about it, but it WILL happen, just not tomorrow.
I’ve been a busy bee. Once again, I couldn’t sleep last night. I took a nap, so hopefully I can get my days & nights back on track.

Oh, I read today that our official snowfall was 3.75 inches :)
Evening everyone. I survived the dentist. I am having a whole crown and not just a partial. Only one corner of the tooth was broke, but the same price for either/or and what if five, ten years down the road something happened to the other part of that tooth would have to buy a new one. Made since to my pocket book and brain.
Evenin! Had a good relaxing weekend with Friend and G, now gearing up to go back to work tomorrow. Happy to have the holiday!
