Tuesday Free-For-All

Stormy weather tonight. Be weather aware. If you hear a freight train and don’t live near a railroad track, dive for cover.

Good morning to you all. Have a great day. Everyone remember Barb and keep her in your prayers. She is having preop done and she is hoping nothing stands in her way to have knee replacement surgery.

Marshall you have outdone yourself with your picture taking ability and being at the right place at that right moment. I love the cross that the sun makes across the water. Absolutely a masterpiece of God’s.

  2. Airwolf says:

Morning folks. I’m headed out to the doctor for a checkup!

  3. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

I was thinking about Barb on my drive in this morning. Hope it all goes well.

    Everyone have a great day!

  4. msblondie says:

Morning! NO sunshine here. Drizzly misty morning. It made the cardinals stand out pretty though as they came to the feeder to get their morning seed. all the birds are in a frenzy to eat today.

    I think we need prayer.

“Dear Lord, today we thank YOU for EVERY circumstance in our lives. Some have heavy hearts of sorrow and some are overwhelmed with happiness. In it all, Lord, please give us a deep sense of your JOY and know that YOU order everything in our lives and someday this vale of tears will be passed when we see You in Your everlasting home at last. We love you today. IN Jesus’ name, AMEN.”

Today will be quite an adventure. My friend Tom begins radiation (again) for esophageal cancer, and I’ll be bringing him in my teeny tiny chariot-thus, the “adventure.”

    Wish us luck!!

Amen cardinal and good morning folks.

  8. Airwolf says:

I got a good report. Just a well baby visit and to get scripts renewed.

  9. OldBopper says:

Afternoon! Finished up my morning at the Capitol about 10:30. Free until 3 pm. So I came home and cut up the celery and onion and cooked the meat for my chili recipe. We have our chili cook off tomorrow night and I sure would like to win again. In the morning, I’ll put it all in a crock pot with all the spices and let it simmer all day.

Been thinking of Barbara. Said a prayer for her this morning. Hope we hear good news from her.

Glad AW passed his physical this morning.

  10. Mrs. H says:

One of our church mothers (every lady of a certain age that grew up here considers her a mother) passed away this morning while on a trip out of state. Her family will be traveling back here tomorrow. Hopefully they will arrive after most of the bad weather is past.

And Dr. T’s father-in-law has received really bad news about his health. Please pray for both of these families.

On the lighter side (because we all need a look at the lighter side): my children come to my office everyday after school. (go ahead and say it…..Awwwwwww……) HOWEVER, they say hello as they pass my office and then spend the next hour in the minister of music’s office!!

  11. parrotmom says:

Evening everyone. MrsH prayers for the families. CLady what a wonderful prayer today. Hi Blues and everyone else. Hold on to your hats tonight.

For the second day in a row. I have had to resign on with my DSL modem number. Does that meant it is going out? I don’t turn my pc off, I guess I need to check in the morning to see if it is still up then? It was just changed out less than 2 yrs ago— I think?

  13. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

PM, I’m sorry, but I’m no help at all in the IT department. We need Blondie for that!

AW, glad you got a good report! Clady, beautiful prayer, as usual.

MrsH, praying for Dr. T’s families and that better news will follow.

The wind is blowing BIG time here in Gtown. It may be an interesting night. I hope all of you stay safe!

    Batten down the hatches!

  14. Airwolf says:

Evening! It’s looking like an interesting night! We’ve had a little rain and wind is getting up! We’re under a tornado watch until 4 am.

    Y’all stay safe!

  15. parrotmom says:

11:21 pm. The wind at times is blowing so hard it sounds like it is going through the house. I took my flag down. I think Itty Bitty decided she was safer outside than inside. Then Tinker Bell wanted out. She didn’t last 5 minutes and she was back in. They survived the tornado back in 2011 I guess Itty will be ok tonight.

Oh, in 2011 I saw the mama cat to these two and she had a little reddish orange kitten. When I got home this afternoon there that reddish/orange cat sat at my garage. she/he is a nubbie tail too. I feed my two inside so I hope he/she doesn’t hang around. STrange most cats or that peanut orange, but this one is more red than orange.
