Mornin. I AM coming to the picnic! At 1 AM, Kiddo said she was tagging along too. But we’ll just have to see if she actually gets up.
At this late date, I don’t have time to cook anything. Is there any last minute thing I can pick up? I do have some Lay’s potato chips I can bring.
I’m glad OB knew which landmarks to look for. I don’t go into Pearl enough to know exactly where everything is. I know the general direction I need to go, but couldn’t tell you off the top of my head what is next to what.

The easiest way for you out of tow ears and some lo locals too is to take the Airport Road Exit off I-20 and turn north toward the airport, but turn left onto Highway 80. Come to the 2nd traffic light and turn left and then left again into the parking lot. The first traffic light is at the road to the high school. You will pass the front of the park and then turn left at that light.
We wanted to do this in cooler weather this year and I do believe we got our wish.

If coming from the East, turn at Miskelly’s.
My directions are for approaching from the West. If coming from the East, turn left at the stop light after Krystal and MAC’s gas.
Whether you are coming from east or west, taking the Airport Exit is the easiest and fastest. Yes , turn west onto Highway. 80. If you’re coming from the reservoir area, the interstate wouldn’t be the easiest. Just turn west onto Highwsy 80 whether you come down Airport Road or cut through on Fox Hall Road and come out on 80 at the high school.

Oh what fun I had today at the 5th annual MRBA pickanick!!! Wonderful food and fellowship. Missed Blues, Prom Queen, Airwolf and Rambette. Also missed any others that had thought about it and didn’t make it.
We Thank You Marshall that you and the eldest was able to attend today.
Sounds as if a good time was had by all! Wish we could have been there!
Orville had a blast today, as did I, and he loved meeting the people that I’ve talked so much about! And, I loved being able to hug all my dear friends, but sure missed those that couldn’t be there today.

Sunday 2:00 pm went to church and had lunch at Appplebee’a I think I may need a nap. I normally don’t eat three days in a row. I’m stuffed and the sunshine feels good and should be felt. Enjoy the day.

Okay, truck saga. It is totalled. So we are on the hunt for a truck. Just a disgusting situation all around. We do not know the condition of the two taken away in the ambulances but hopefully they were okay.
