I’m excited about the weekend! Bug’s graduation is Friday night, then A is bringing Poppy down to spend her birthday weekend with me!! Hard to believe my Bug is 18 and graduating high school, and my Poppy will be 2.

Mawnin’ y’all. Beautiful weekend in store. I think we have some plans after doing the graduation this evening. Have a claims adjuster coming to check our roof tomorrow. Keeping my fingers crossed.
Mornin. Looks like Kiddo and I are headed to the Alabama Coast in late July. Kiddo is 17 and has been on 3 family vacations with the 3 of us, and she and I have been to Florida to visit relatives twice when she was little. In another year, she’s out of high school and gone. I am taking this opportunity to spend some quality time with her while I can. Hubby isn’t happy about it and won’t go. His loss…
Probably the most important thing is NOT to make an issue of it with hubby. If the subject isn’t pressed, he may relax about it.
I don’t plan to mention it again. Kiddo and I will just quietly make our plans and remind him as we are walking out the door that we won’t be home a few days. ;)
He may make peace with it and he may not. Either way, I am spending this time with my daughter.
Molly so glad you are doing this with your daughter, it will be time well spent and maybe your husband will change his mind before then.
I bought a George County Times yesterday at the QuickStop. When I got it back to my office and unfolded it, Em was on the front page! The top 3 graduates were featured in a story. I was VERY pleasantly surprised.
