Morning gang ! Trying to get ready to go back to work. The past few days have been tough. And this morning up early cause hubby’s car would not crank for we somehow left the lights on yesterday afternoon so dead battery this morning. Got his car started… Thankfully we have several pairs of jumper cables here.

Everyone have a good day and try to stay cool.

Mawnin’ y’all. I do believe yesterday was the hottest of the season thus far. Was standing in my carport working on some electrical stuff on Bleuz and just dripped in sweat.

PQ is down in McComb. She’s been going down one night a week. Gives her time to do some cooking for her Dad and for them to take care of unfinished business and also just have some time together.

Went for a walk this morning. Wasn’t bad. A breeze was blowing and the sun was still just simmering rather than being at a full boil.

Eating breakfast…fresh pineapple, fresh papaya, fresh cherries and orange juice. I had a cup of coffee before I walked.

Was glad to see Brandon folks approve a 2% tax on restaurant servings. The next big vote will come on August 20 when we will decide on allowing restaurants to serve alcohol by the drink. We need that in order to be able to compete with Pearl and Flowood for nice places to eat.

Got to work a couple of days next week. Will be in Oxford and plan to eat at the Ravine. It’s a lovely place out in the country that serves some wonderful food. We are going on Wednesday since that is Tapas night.

Hope this finds everybody doing as well as can be. Smiles and hugs to all!
