    Morning! Welcome home, Marshall.

    Watching the river stages..Getting scary…

  2. parrotmom says:

Good morning everyone!!! Wow Marshall I had no clue you were in Nashville—Welcome back. Morning to Blues and Coop who posted on yesterdays FFA :)

  3. Mrs. H says:

Good morning. I wish you could all come to my house for breakfast. I just pulled home-made cinnamon rolls (made from a sour dough starter) out of the oven. Topped with cream cheese icing . . . I think I could be dangerous. It’s a good thing they’re not really big.

  4. OldBopper says:

Mmmmmmm smells good! A nice way to start the day MrsH.

Crispy cool this morning. Wish Mom Nature would save some of this for July and August. A little respite from the hot weather would be nice in those months.

Not much planned for today. I picked up “sticks” out of the yard yesterday and cut grass. Need to trim up the bushes and edge the walk but haven’t looked at the weather yet.

Congratulations, MR, on being named UT’s alumnus of the year!!!!

I don’t know how that first part was still here after I had already posted it. MrsH smells awesome in your house. I wished I was really there :) I do seem to miss out on some specialty’s in life :(

  8. dhcoop says:

    Mornin again!

    Icky drive in this morning.

MrsH, I wish I had one of those rolls! But I’ll just have some yogurt and fresh strawberries instead. :)

  9. parrotmom says:

I hope everyone has a great days and prayers to all that are in need!
    That’s all folks….for now :)

  10. Airwolf says:

    Morning folks. Pouring rain!

  11. cardinallady says:

Morning! Flitting through. Yep, raining up here nicely. I went through the pouring rain to let my chickens out, then decided against it because I don’t want them to get chilled. They have plenty of food and water in the hen house.

Alright, gotta write a creek full of words, good thing it is raining. :) I’ll flit through later. Blues Hope you are having a good day today.

My best friend’s dad died Sunday on his (the dad’s) birthday. He was exactly 64.

  12. Mrs. H says:

The eldest was supposed to move some things home today because the bad weather was originally going to be yesterday. Her dad said to me yesterday that if she got wet moving home on Tuesday, she’d never hear the end of it. She called last night to say that moving day was postponed until tomorrow! Glad she checked the weather (that makes me laugh!!)

  13. msblondie says:

morning gang! very icky driving in. hope all have a good day!

Ok _ soap box time: If you are in the left hand lane on the interstate do the speed limit at least or move over! It is the law that slower traffice drives in the right lane. And playing cat and mouse in the rain is stupid! Also turn on your headlights! I can’t see you for all the spray from that 18-Wheeler you are playing with! – Ok Off Soap Box!

MrsH: I bet those rolls are great! I need to get me another sour dough starter.

  14. The Real JB says:

    Morning.
MR…I would have bought you lunch or breakfast or a cup of coffee. I work in Nashville.

Rainy dreary day up here today. Son had his final home game last night in baseball. He played a great game in left field. Made a couple of great catches.

Where it is fb or on here…when you put a opinion out there just know that there is a possibility that somebody may not agree with you…and that is OK. Usually opinions are like belly buttons…everybody has one…and usually nobody wants to see yours.

  15. dhcoop says:

It is still raining steady here. bleah

  16. msblondie says:

the weather is matching how my day is going. icky. 2 hours on the phone with tech support that was no support. Another tech was to be here for phone issue yesterday – told you were never on schedule – yet I have conformation of being on said schedule – A not so nice response back. Will have tech today.

When you wake up upside down on the bed – you know you just going to have a bad day.

lunch was leftovers – fried rice and beef (homemade).

now to go fix a couple of other issues.

  17. dhcoop says:

Check out this really cool video of our maintenance guru and our music minister releasing an owl.

  19. Mrs. H says:

We had a bit of rain, but not enough to make up for the drought in South Mississippi.

    • Molly says:

Wish we could share our rain with you! I’m sure AW and CL would be happy to part with a few inches of theirs as well.

  20. Clucky says:

It has stopped raining here, but still downright cold, especially for early May! This is supposed to be early barefootin’ weather! Last night was Chicklette’s last middle school band concert. Next year, she will be in high school band! She has asked, and yes I’ve agreed, to let her play my flute again this year for solo and ensemble contest on Saturday. It’s not the beginner model, and has a much richer sound. I wish I could be there to hear her :( Alas, I will be in St. D. Y’all, I have palpitations every time I think about it. Seriously.
My work day didn’t end until midnight last night. That nap at lunch today sure felt good.
Blues, will our mutual friends on Eagle Lake be evacuating or losing their place due to the river flooding? I think about them every time I go to Leake County. Then again, I also think about your Mom every time I find a shoe box in the top of my Mother’s closet. *grin*
Y’all have a good day. My work situation has made a 180 degree turn-around thanks to some answered prayers. We have a large crew from MS in Cullman and Blountsville AL cooking for the tornado victims in the area. It makes me proud to work for this company. I just wish we could do more to help folks like jb’s dad.

Clucky, Eagle Lake friends moved all their furniture out this past weekend….just hoping for the best. They spent a TON of money on their place.

  21. Clucky says:

PS Gran has chemo today. Say a prayer for her. She never did bounce back after her last treatment; the fall she took really messed her up, and getting a transfusion didn’t help. Mr Fab is really taking this hard. Heck, all of us are taking it hard.

  22. parrotmom says:

I good friend of mine at work she her husband found out today that he has lung cancer. I don’t know full details although she did say it was extensive. Yes he is a smoker. Although he tried to quit a couple of times they both went to a hypnotist it worked for her, but not for him. They will no more next Thursday when they meet with the oncologist.

  23. dhcoop says:

Evenin! Making efforts to reclaim the cat house since I’ve been gone so much lately. Got to do a bit of laundry too.

PM, I hate to hear that about your friend.

  24. parrotmom says:

    Thanks Coop!
My Kittie girls have been fine ever since that weekend that they went crazy. You would have thought that it would have happned the 15th of Friday when the tornado hit our neighborhood not the weekend after.

  25. dhcoop says:

Enjoyed an evening on the phone with my Mom and texting with Cub during DWTS. Now I must go put a load of clothes on and get ready for sleep.

  26. parrotmom says:

nite lite is on!! nite to all my friends and family :)
