    After the owl video yesterday, the brothers got the call to come snake handling on the playground. I’m glad I had left for the day. Warning: graphic animal violence.

    Good morning.

    Trying to wrap things up on this project. It’s been 43 days today. Hope to be completely finished and possibly on the road by 7 or 8 tonight.

    Mawnin’ y’all! I told PQ yesterday that I feel like a teenager who just got a drivers license. Everytime she needs something from the store, Casper and I volunteer to run and get it. Just so you know, you’re never too old to feel young.

    I’ve been trying to post that on fb all morning but it won’t let me comment on anything. I couldn’t even get into my account for the longest. and all the people I had hidden are now showing up. I don’t care when this certain person is “relaxing in my recliner”. fb is always messing things up.
    Old Hopper made me laugh!!! I love autocorrect.

      Coop, I just comment on the FB link to MR’s cartoons nowadays.
      I think they permanently dispatched the serpent because it was on the playground. They were afraid it might return and traumatize the children. As it is, I’ll check under every picnic table at the pavilion before sitting down for at least a couple of years!

    We went to Kiddo’s last ever band concert. She is dropping out after this year. With band taking up 2 class periods, she is missing out on some electives she would like to take. And besides, she doesn’t really care for marching and particularly marching in July heat at band camp. I’m sad she isn’t continuing it, but know better than to force her to do something she no longer enjoys.
