Morning again! I guess everyone is getting ready for the picnic. I really wish I could be there!! Plan one for cooler weather and give lots of notice and I’m there!!! Have a great time, take lots of pictures for me!!!
Potato salad=EPIC FAIL.
Now for Plan B. I have NO CLUE what Plan B is-I didn’t have a Plan B.
You’ll figure it out and even if you don’t, they want you at the picnic more than your tater salad!!
At pavilion 1! WE HAVE GREAT SHADE!!!! AND A BREEZE!!
Hey everyone at the pick-a-nick. Yes you do have a breeze, Enjoy some fun and fellowship for me. At home with the parrot soon to head to work with a stop by Arby’s first.
I’ve been cleaning. Washed my clothes from the road trip, El washed hers from a week at Mr. H’s Mom’s house. We wanted the washer to be empty for Em’s return, so she can empty her bag into the washer and then pack it all back in when it’s dry. Headed to Ft. Walton Beach for a week of youth camp. Last year I bunked with the middle school girls. This year, I’ve moved up to the high school girls. :)
I’ve been cleaning Em’s truck. She’s going to drive the Chevy Silverado rather than the old BMW. There was still a bunch of stuff from Mr. H’s dad’s ownership that Mr. H just hadn’t had the heart to get into. So I cleaned out towels and gloves and old sunshades. There is no carpet, just vinyl flooring, so it’s super easy to clean. Sr. Mr. H had cut pieces of carpeting on the floor that were starting to ravel. I took them out and it seems neater already. Em may want to get some girly floor mats to go in it.
Having a great time at the pick-a-nic!!
I’m still waiting to hear how close Em is to George County.
Had a good time at the picnic! The location was the best yet; lots of privacy since no other pavilions are beside it. We had a wonderful breeze all day which negated the need for fans. The Boss and his middle son spent all day with us. It was a real treat.
If you didn’t make it, please know you were missed. It’s amazing how the blog children are growing up. Will try to post pictures later.
Good I can’t wait to see all the good time that I missed. I did get a lot accomplished at work. Will need to try for a couple more hours tomorrow to be ahead of the game for Monday.
That was fun!
:)
I will wake up tomorrow another day older with fond memories of spending time with my friends. I’m still stuffed and may not eat for a couple more days. I thoroughly enjoyed seeing everyone and hate that some of you didn’t come. We certainly had enough food for you if you had shown up. Old Bopper, you are still the Brownie King, which makes you a lot better that the more well known BK. We’re keeping you our secret weapon.
OldBopper, if PQ ever runs away to Panama and doesn’t come back, I PROMISE it’s not because of your lack of brownie-making skills! Those were the BEST, BAR NONE Brownies I have EVER had in my mouth. Oh my goodness. Siiiiiiigh.
I want a brownie, please.
So glad you all had a great time. I hope to be back for the next one.
Happy Father’s day to Marshall and all of the other Fathers that join us here on the blog.
Glad ya’ll all had a good time…wish I had been there!!
Mrs.H, I lived in Ft. Walton for 2 years in the mid-seventies. In fact, my daughter was born at Eglin AFB.
we are watching “The Bucket List”. I have seen it before PD hasn’t and is enjoying the list part.
PM, I love that movie!
I sang the MRBA “Picnic Blues” all day yesterday. The guy(geologist) that hired me and my company was on location all day. Since he had traveled from Dallas, it really wouldn’t be appropriate for me to have been away from the job site.
Happy Birthday Legal!!!!……Hit it AnnO!!…..anna one anna two…….what? whaddyamean she’s not up yet?…..well somebody go get her and tell her she’s needed up front……kids these days…all they wanna do is sleep…jeesh
Blues, we missed having you, but understand.
Happy Birthday Leagle!!
I can barely move my arm. I didn’t think anything about it when repeatedly tossing a football with Hot Laser Guy yesterday but, obviously, I am not used to that. OWWweeee
Happy Birthday, Leagle!! It’s Dr. T’s wife’s birthday, too, as well as the lady who does a SUPERB job of housekeeping at our church. June 19th seems to be a GREAT day to be born!
Happy Father’s Day to all you Fathers out there!!
Mornin! Happy Birthday Legal! Happy Father’s Day to all you pops out there.
Sorry I missed the pic-a-nic. We did get Kiddo home safe and sound. Not sure she’s gonna wake up today.
