Change

There are days when I wish change was just the nickels and dimes in my pocket.  Don’t get me wrong, I normally embrace change. But there are times when it completely is a bull in my life’s china shop.

The next few days I will be pondering great change.  I’ll also be working my butt off to make it happen. Pondering is great, but it has to be accompanied by action, too.

Today I’ll be in Greenville with the radio show. Tomorrow I’ll be in Monticello. I have two MAJOR speeches this weekend, too.

There are days I feel like the guy in the kayak in the Rapids story, fighting the current and dodging the rocks for my life.  Today is one of them.

praying for you to have strength and the get up go that you will need in the days to come.

Also try to get some rest so the strength will come naturally. I’m praying that your life will change so that the weights will be lifted and God will carry you over the rapids and rocks to safety and security. God Bless You!

We’re with you! (I’m the one in the kayak screaming like a girl)

We know your training you’ve spoken of will get ya down the river today. Sounds like you’ve had some experienced “spotters” give ya some good advice on what type of rocks you should expect to dodge. We’ve seen you mastering your skills with your actions. Maybe one thing to keep in mind: hold your breath until your back upright, if your kayak is flipped upside-down, and enjoy the ride!

Now you got me singing old David Bowie songs.

Sorry to see you stressed, Boss. Something tells me ,though, things will be fine and much better for you soon.

He who controls the rapids looks after you too my dear. God has you in the palm of His hand. To those he calls to do great things, He gives great strength and His true colors will come shining through your life. PRAISE HIM!

MR, I understand tomorrow night’s supper is sold out! good deal. I hope you have a safe trip down and a good time. I live 16 miles south of there. one of my dear friends is doing the side dishes to go w/the ribeyes. she was truly my life saver during my daughter’s wedding. she is so good at what she does. her name is joan. I hope you get to meet her. and who knows, hubby and I may ride up for the meet and greet.
I enjoyed listening to today’s show from greenville. when I was in 4th/5th grade my daddy worked up there. he did the dirt work for some power company (if I’m remembering that part right). he rented a trailer just over the river in lake village, ark. we would go stay on weekends/summer. he also did the dirt work for grand gulf. he made that drive every day.
