Morning! Hope everyone is able to enjoy their long weekend. I, of course will be at work.
Well, at least I do have a job, one I actually like most of the time!!

Morning! BE has gone fishing and I’m chilling, watching the news, drinking coffee, chatting, reading, etc.

I finished “Pillars of the Earth” by Ken Follett and then read the new Lisa Jackson “Born to Die” and got it back to the library on time Thursday. Then I started Ken Follett’s “World Without End,” which is a sequel to “Pillars of the Earth.” I’m on page 183 of 1014. This one takes place in the same part of England, 200 years later. I’m going to have to check again, but I think his latest release is another sequel.

morning, waiting on PD’s formula and meds then homeward bond :)

for someone so excited he has beem sound asleep for about an hour or longer. I guess it beats watching the clock.

I wonder how Ghost treated Coop this morning?

hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

We managed to stay awake until 2:00 a.m. and then I woke up at 5:00 something and BE was on the computer because he couldn’t sleep and then I finally got up about 7:30, so I’, bleary eyed this morning.

Morning. We rode bikes this morning. OB, mine is people powered, not horses. I was wishing for the latter…But Hubby was pleased with the distance for my first time in a loooonnnnnnggggg time! I hope to work up to keeping up with him, which may be impossible…

Hope everyone enjoys the Holiday weekend!

Em just drove by on the lawn mower. 2/3 done and now just another almost 3 acres to cut. She and El alternate cutting. This year got off to a slow start due to lack of rain. But it has picked up some.

  10. Mrs. H says:

I lost my mind Wednesday night at choir practice and volunteered to sing the solo in “Sweet Land of Liberty” with just 3 days to practice. There is no way I can have it memorized, but I’m hoping I can give it some feeling anyway. Here’s a demo (NOT me) of the song with a cool patriotic montage:

Morning again. Been for a ride, then to the grocery store for four half gallons of ice cream, and now back home. About to remove staples from dining room chairs so PQ can continue recovering them. At one a day, we should be through by this time next week. Man that’s a lot of staples to remove!

  13. parrotmom says:

Back again the special package (PD) has been delivered home without incidence. The parrot is unsure. Not only is he having to get used to a bed in the den now the neck brace on PD. So far the parrot is all about routine as if PD was never away for a month. Now I am off to the drug store to see how much of my paycheck they will want :( then to El Sombrero for my chicken quesadilia that I have missed for over a month. Be back after while.

  14. dhcoop says:

Warm greeting from Ghost. He seemed happy to see me. yeah, right!

Can’t get the tv/satellite to work right. J has an elaborate sound/dvd/tv/satellite/cable, etc system. It was asleep when I got here. He had left it on satellite with “soothing music” for Ghost. I woke it up by pressing the “select” button on the satellite remote. I could then hear the music, but no screen. When I did get the tv on, it’s showing me cable. So, I’m now listening to satellite and watching cable and trying to figure out how to fix it!

  15. parrotmom says:

I went to get PD’s meds filled. I found out the reason why he is on 3 inhalers is due to his blood clots. They were hefty amount :(

  16. dhcoop says:

Bug is back in the USA!!

Now trip from Atlanta and she’ll be home tonight!

  17. msblondie says:

    evening gang!

Well finally went to have my foot seen about. it isnt broke but would have been better if I had. I am in an ugly boot for the next 2 weeks.

hubby did treat me to gigi’s cupcakes for having to go through this.

    Everyone have a good evening.

  18. Clucky says:

Mother in law is being admitted to hospice care. A not very good day.

    Thanks for your prayers.

  19. dhcoop says:

I’m chillin at the lakehouse with Ghost. Mrs. Doubtfire just came on. Oh, and T called and helped me get satellite straightened out. So, I’m set with tv, ac, and sushi (that I bought in Clinton earlier). Happy camper at Lake Cavelier. :P

  20. parrotmom says:

evening. I finally have PD situated. two of his inhalers were liquids that needed a nebulizer for use. Holy Crap. Finally a little after 8:00 pm one was delivered. If one hand would have known what the other was doing it should have been on the order yesterday when the bed was delivered.
Everyone is happy and I am ready for a lites out evening. Even though I took a nap from 3:30 to 5:00 pm.

  21. dhcoop says:

    Mornin!

Me and Ghost had an uneventful night. Watching movies and chillin. We’ve been playing the “in and out” game. That’s where he comes to the door and I let him in and he stays a few minutes, then wants out again. He likes to make me stand at the door while he rubs against it as I hold it open. I have to almost shut it on him before he’ll go on out. Cats!
