Happy Birthday America

Freedom isn’t easy. There’s no script. No plan. No one telling you what to do. You’re expected to do your best and to make your own way. Yes, it’s hard. But the rewards are unlimited.

Happy birthday America. May freedom continue to ring.

MR, people have odd ideas about freedom. It’s hard work! And you have to take chances and be willing to accept the consequences. I guess you know that better than most of us.

Lucedale/George County has its fireworks tonight. It is small town America at its best. I know this county has its problems, but to see the entire county turn out with lawn chairs and grills into the old WalMart parking lot from about noon is amazing! If you need to find someone, just wander around long enough and you’ll eventually see them or at least hear from someone who knows their ‘campsite’.

I was born and raised in Jackson, then moved to the Hampton Roads area of Virginia. I wasn’t prepared for how much I love living in a rural area close to a small town.
