    Mornin!

I sure am enjoying reading all your tales, Marshall!

Looking forward to another good day. It sure is nice to feel so much better.

  2. parrotmom says:

    Happy Hump day to all!!!!

    Prayers for Clucky’s friends.

Mawnin’ y’all. AW, hope this link works. It is a feature on the Berlin Wall: http://www.dw-world.de/dw/article/0,,15304958,00.html

  4. OldBopper says:

AW, this is a better link regarding the Berlin Wall. August 12, commemorates the anniversary of the building of the Wall. http://www.spiegel.de/international/germany/0,1518,779231,00.html

  5. Pncpnthr says:

Morning. Just another day in paradise. Hope everyone has a good day.
Sis, (coop) so glad you feel better! We need to get together!! Been too long!!!

  6. Crystalbutterfly says:

    hey all!!
I need all of you to pray for my uncle he was in a car accident yesterday and is in ICU and it is not looking good.

  7. Airwolf says:

    Morning friends!

  8. msblondie says:

morning gang! hope all have a great day!

  9. Airwolf says:

OB I posted a picture on FB of a piece of the Berlin Wall I brought home. I was in Berlin on November 9, 1989 when the citizens finally revolted and tore it down. Such jubilation I will probably never see again.

    Prayers for your uncle CB.

  10. Clucky says:

Prayers, CB. I keep waiting for a voice to come from above telling me, “ENOUGH!”

Our local paper has this headline above the fold
On the front page (CLady will love this):
“Decatur considers crackdown on baggy pants”
I HOWLED!! Do they not think about these things? Or maybe it was an attempt at comic relief, which the whole town needs right now.

  11. The Real JB says:

Son has an interview today for a job. Praying he wears pants to this one. Last one he thought it was a cool idea to wear shorts. NOT.

  12. parrotmom says:

JB good luck with your son and his interview. At least it was shorts and not a skirt for the last one :)

Happy lunch time. Hope you all enjoy !!!

  13. Barb says:

    Prayers for your uncle, CB.
Coop, so glad you are feeling better.

  14. dhcoop says:

There are entirely too many fonts to choose from in Word. Just sayin…

  15. Mrs. H says:

Coop, I wish there was some way to tag only the ones you want to choose from, but still have the others installed so that docs created by others appear as intended.

  16. Crystalbutterfly says:

thank you for all the prayers I am going to check on him when I get off work and I know that his wife and his family says thank you too.

  17. dhcoop says:

Chewing on a mouth full of cashews… BIG surprise sneeze… not pretty…

  18. Legal Eagle says:

I’m sorry about your uncle, CrystalButterfly. I will keep him in my thoughts and prayers.

I feel like I’ve just been ****** without being kissed. I just left Kroger, which I decided to go in lieu of Wal-Mart for a change.

    • pncpnthr says:

I will NOT shop at Kroger unless I have to. I don’t need their permission (ie: card) to shop the sales & the last time I was in Kroger in Flowood the cashier was so rude. It was as if I shouldn’t have bothered to enter the store without a “card”.

      • Legal Eagle says:

I am so sick of Wal-Mart that I thought I would save myself some wear and tear today by going to Kroger, but I didn’t buy several things I needed. 3 pounds of Kroger bacon was $14.00 and someone else’s brand was over $17.00 – just one example of why I felt nauseus by the time I got out of there.

  19. parrotmom says:

good evening to you all. Prayers CB to your friend and his family.

  20. dhcoop says:

    Evenin!

I can’t say I’ve ever had any bad experience with Kroger. Not that I go that often, however.

CB, anxious to hear how your uncle is doing. I hope all is well.

  21. Legal Eagle says:

Have y’all been watching America’s Got Talent? I love the bulldog.

  22. parrotmom says:

I prefer Kroger meats and there frozen veggies for my parrot, but there again I don’t go that often either

  23. dhcoop says:

Leagle, I gave up on AGT. Too many acts that make me nervous (dangerous, icky, etc.) I prefer RuPaul’s Drag U on Monday nights. Definitely putting going to Drag U on my bucket list. I need to get my mojo back.

  24. dhcoop says:

Y’all that are on fb. This is serious. I just checked and it’s REAL. EVERY number in my phone was showing up and I NEVER gave permission. Thanks to Old Bopper for posting:

ALL THE PHONE NUMBERS IN YOUR PHONE are now on facebook! go to the top right of the screen, click on ACCOUNT, click on EDIT FRIENDS, left side of screen and click CONTACTS. you will see all phone numbers from your phone (FB friends or not) are published that you have stored in your mobile phone. TO REMOVE, go to RIGHT column, click on “this page.” Please repost this on your status, so your friends can remove their numbers and thus prevent abuse if they do not want them published..

  25. parrotmom says:

I don’t sync with FB either, the phone numbers that show are the ones that people have posted on the FB page and none are my friends from here.

  26. parrotmom says:

    nite to all.

  27. dhcoop says:

To clarify…If someone has allowed their number to be published, it will still show up. But I had folks in my phone that aren’t even ON fb showing up!! Seriously wondering about this social media thing. I enjoy it, but I hate having to worry about my own privacy!! Its invasive and you don’t even know it!
