Hi BPman. I have been to the cemetary and walmart. What a way to start the day. Almost time for my parrot’s shower. This bird has a built in clock. Last Sunday it was almost 2:00 pm before his shower and he would not bath. If he doesn’t have it before at at noon. You can hang it up.

Made it to early church. Hibiscus was a bust. So we went down the road for a fine breakfast at the Southern Cafe in Sea Side. Goya cheese grits, poached eggs over english muffin and smoked bacon. Not as heart healthy but a much better atmosphere.

Came back changed and we went out on the beach for about an hour sitting under the umbrella and reading. We don’t have the pleasant breeze we had yesterday. Sat on the beach for hours and never broke a sweat. Today it’s just not that way at all, you have to dry off even if you didn’t get in the water. The ocean is as calm as a lake today. Saw some dolphins swimming by. Fun to watch.

Nothing like fixing one pipe to have another one burst. Gah!!

Clucky, you’re going to have to start wearing your pants down low and bending over a lot if you keep this up. But then, you really will be making the big bucks.

I’ve got swiss steak in the 6-quart Nesco and I will let it cook for about 4 hours to get that good tomato gravy. BE is going to make biscuits in a little while.

Our virtue for the FX (family experience) tonight is Knowledge. I get to wear my labcoat again! I have a diagram for lift showing wind vectors and a wing cross section! M2 will be wearing Mr. H’s flight jacket and then a pair of wings. I love working with the children’s department at our church!

Ahhhhh, the wind picked up. We have waves again and a delightful ocean breeze. Just back from the Southern Resturant in Sea Side where we knocked off two dozen oysters on the half shell and two scrumptous bloody mary’s.

More people on the beach here than I have ever seen. I’m sure we will come in mid-September next year to avoid the crowds. We’ve got about 50 people out on the beach right now. It’s usually under ten. Yes, we’ve been spoiled with what is normally equivilant to a “private beach”.

That’s OK, life is still GOOD!

I think I know how a load of clothes feel after the spin cycle. All wrung out.

I wish I were with OB & PQ on the beach. I’d bet he’d make me a beverage with a little umbrella in it.

I want to see Clucky in plumbers pants!!

  9. parrotmom says:

evening to everyone. Coop I hope you get some much needed rest tonight.

Clucky sorry for the plumbing problems, time to put the plummer pants back on unfortunately.

OB great description of the food and the beach. So glad you both are enjoying yourselves.
