   Thanks. My husband worked Hurricane Katrina and has gone now to North Carolina. Very rare to see anyone give our linemen credit.

   This was my favorite Katrina toon. I have it saved from back then.

   Several of my family were sitting outside on day six under one of the few shade trees that was left in Mother’s yard when the linemen came by. We actually cheered and hollered for them. I think we were very fortunate to only be out of power six days. Of course, it didn’t do me much good since I didn’t have a house left. Well, I had half a house and was thankful for that.
